This café has a rustic and inviting atmosphere with an intriguing menus displayed on the wall. There were so many you didn’t know where to look. We only grabbed a coffee and turmeric tea to go, because the service wasn’t particularly friendly—maybe just an off day. We’ll be back to try the food and hopefully they’ll be nicer next time!

I walked into Rustic today & order a small chai latte & a Cosmo bagel. Received drink right away. After about 5 minutes & still waiting for my bagel I asked the guy at the counter for my bagel. The 2 "cooks" in the kitchen were clearly having thier own private conversation. A few more minutes passed & I walked out without my order. I can't believe & regret spending $22 on a order I never got.
Be very specific about what you want or they will half ass your order… why are my potatoes basically raw….. their bagels are cool, but unless you’re eating it right then be careful they get soggy quick ( avocado or tomato). The Chilli might be the best thing I had there

long wait, missing items from the order, dirty counters, got my name wrong; it's a west-end joint that's been here forever with a cool atmosphere that could be so amazing but hasn't stepped up now that there's better options in the area...
Delicious breakfast bagel sandwiches on Queen! Good price and ideal to eat on the go or on the spot.

Bought the Chicken Avocado and there was a small hard thing in my sandwich. Thought it might be cartilage which wouldn’t be a big deal but it was sharp and had ridges (or “teeth”). Unfortunately I think whatever container was holding something in the assembly process may have had some plastic chip off.

We visited this spot for breakfast on a Saturday morning. It wasn't too busy when we arrived. The place is indeed rustic and cute, and the staff was friendly, though they always seemed to be in a rush.
I ordered the SEC (sausage) bagel and made sure to emphasize my order to the cashier because I was worried they might give me bacon. Lo and behold, they did get my order wrong and gave me bacon instead lol. Since the sandwiches took a bit long to make, I didn't ask them to fix it (plus, my people-pleasing tendencies make it hard for me to point out mistakes—which is why I stressed my sausage order in the first place).
Aside from the mix-up, the bagel was okay—cheesy and satisfying, but I found it a bit bland. I didn’t get much of the garlic aioli flavor. My partner got the Nicole breakfast wrap. He didn't enjoy it, but I thought it was nice. We also ordered a cappuccino, which was just okay.
Overall, it’s a cute spot for breakfast or coffee if you’re in the area, but I personally wouldn’t come back a second time.

I got their iced oat latte (only comes in large) and a BLT with a whole wheat wrap. They were both great. The cafe was cozy and the staff was friendly.

My wife and I were visiting Toronto for 3 days and we literally ate from here every morning! The vegan bacon, egg & cheddar bagel sandwiches were amazing especially the garlic alioli! Try their vegan cookies as well! We will be back every time we visit!

We stopped by for a breakfast, as I thought it was nice to have a local place that offers vegan options. The menu was limited and confusing. I ordered a double latte, while waiting. It was so weak and full of foam I ended up tossing it. We never ordered anything, because if a coffee house can't do coffee...
