Food was fantastic! We had lemongrass tofu and fried chicken avocado salad wraps, a bowl of pho, and the bbq banh mi and all were fantastic. I only put 4 stars because it wasn't entirely vegan. They have a lot of vegan signage and a separate vegan menu, but the second menu is labeled "meat." Wonderful place regardless, and very friendly service! Updated from previous review on 2025-11-01
I've been coming here for over a year and every time is a delight.
Food is delicious with high quality ingredients and comes in large portions.
Desserts are great and very cheap.
Try the broken rice platter - you won't regret it.

Everything on the menu is vegan and looks so good - I want to try it all. The BBQ Vegan Meat and the Caramel Tofu-Seitan are standouts. I’d definitely recommend any dishes that include either of those. Can’t wait to try some of their soups once the weather gets cooler. Update [2025-09-25]: Absolutely loved the Vegan Pho! It might be my favourite of all the items I’ve tried. The “Spicy” Jicama Peanut Fresh Rolls were good, but not spicy. Updated from previous review on 2025-07-27

I just moved to Toronto and this was the first restaurant I tried. We really enjoyed the chicken banh mi.
Our first visit, I ordered the crispy, spicy chicken banh mi and the lemongrass and avocado roll. My partner ordered the butter chicken with naan. We were severed pretty quickly. The lemongrass and avocado roll was good. It tasted like your average tofu spring roll. My bahn mi was delicious. The chicken had a very crispy texture and it paired well with the toppings. The sauce they add tastes more like sweet and sour sauce. While it’s not spicy, the banh mi was addicting.
My partner’s butter chicken was bland and the chicken texture was too chewy. So, we are sticking with the banh mi and have already returned for more!
As far as service goes, it’s a great place for a quick bite and if you like to left alone to enjoy your meal. (I do!). Severs only came when we ordered, got our food, and paid.
The place was small but clean. Grateful to have an all veggie restaurant with flavorful food options. I look forward to trying their pho next!

There was a scary homeless woman sitting right next to us half the time and the waiters did nothing about it

The best vegan restaurant in Toronto! The pho, fresh rolls, the ambience and the smiles of servers can make anyone's day! 😋 I love to come here every chance I get. So thankful for a vegan viet place close by!

I ordered the Pad Thai (about $20 after tax), and unfortunately, it was the worst vegan Pad Thai I’ve ever had. ☹️ The flavors were off, nothing on the plate tasted decent, and I could only manage a few bites before giving up. It was not made fresh. The noodles looked and tasted like frozen then just reheated. Green curry and tofu taste bland. Such a waste of food and money.
Great selection and fresh food. Service was a little slow.

I had to leave after seeing a mouse dash from the kitchen under the benches. I just could not stomach anything after 😭 hopefully the owner will deal with the rodent issue and have it resolved soon. The vegan banh mi I had for takeout was good tho.

This place was recently recommended to me and I’ve now been 3 times in the last 2 weeks!
It’s fresh, flavourful and delicious! I’m not a vegetarian and this food is healthy and happy! Great presentation, variety and good portions! My only suggestion is music and a fan to keep the air cool on the ground level! Lifelong new customer! ❤️
Give it a try!

Definitely not as good as the location I Kensington Market. The combo I ordered was bland, every dish was flavourless with the exception of the green curry which had a bit of taste. The eggplant tasted boiled and there’s nothing worse than bland eggplant. Service was somewhere between terrible and polite. Only saving grace was the price/value so at least I didn’t feel that it was a ton of wasted money.

Almost all retail merchants accept credit cards as payment. This merchant adds 3% to the bill if you do so. Is this even legal? There was no incentive to pay cash or use debit card. Too bad. Never again.
