My go-to Thai/Vietnamese spot. Tasty, hearty, authentic food and kind and helpful staff. I only wish the curries could be made vegan as they used to be! Still, the laksa was delicious, and my friends enjoyed their meals too.

I recently visited Saigon Pai, a delightful Thai and Vietnamese restaurant located near Cabbagetown, and it certainly did not disappoint! I opted for the Bun Bo Hue, a spicy rice noodle soup, and it was absolutely phenomenal. The dish was incredibly aromatic and fragrant, with the broth being the perfect blend of spices—bold, yet not overpowering. I added some crispy oyasum for that extra crunch, which elevated the texture of the dish.

The server was very attentive and quick, and the food was delicious. Highly recommended restaurant if you are a fan of Vietnamese and Thai foods. They also have variety options for vegan diners!
