Awesome! I was looking for a seafood spot on a recent visit to Toronto. I discovered this place on a Thursday afternoon before a Blue Jays game. They nailed it. Great beer, food and conversation. I'll be back next time I'm in town.

We went for trivia night and had so much fun! It was hosted really well and we all had a great time. The food is alright, typical pub food. I had the fish and chips

Don’t believe the hype. Booked this restaurant (because of the TO mag recommendation) a week ago, and was told in the middle of our dinner that we had to leave because they had other people coming. Albeit extremely rude on the hostess and management’s part, it was fine to leave. The food was ok, the table not amazing, service was fine, but this is absolutely not an acceptable dinner experience with friends. Unless you like eating mundane food in a vaguely hostile environment, I don’t recommend.

Super fun atmosphere. Could get loud indoors but the patio is lovely! The food is yummy as it’s a pub so good old comforting favs

The worst bar I've been to in a while. Food was bad, cocktails were bad, beer was fine. Incredibly loud, overfilled with strangers leaning on our reserved table. Get a table on the patio or go anywhere else. It's Toronto, there's no shortage of options.

Order anything and it’ll make you smile
Ordered fish n chips and crispy chicken sliders
Fish was flaky and well seasoned and nicely done with thin batter, ordered with yam fries which were also spot on
Chicken sliders were delicious served along with salad which was very refreshing
It was four of us and it’s lil rare but all of us loved the food and the experience
Top notch!

We were in Toronto for a concert over a weekend and stayed on Front Street. St. John’s was a short walk and we ended up eating there twice, dinner and brunch. The food was very good and the service was great. We really liked the location and the vibe. We’ll be back!

Absolute worst service ever, they sold me a beer 2mins before closing and then stole it from my hands, who does this? That's crazy, added to that, 30$ for an aperol spritz 😂 Bouncer was also violent with me, do not recommend at ALL

I had an amazing experience at Saint John's Tavern Oyster House! The food was flavourful and beautifully presented. The staff was friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment we walked in. Each dish had a unique, delicious twist, and it was clear they use high-quality ingredients. I highly recommend trying the Tuna Tartare– it was a standout! I’ll definitely be returning soon.
