Sala Modern Thai serves food nothing short of incredibly delicious, every single time. Just popped in to pick up an order after years of delivery service and the atmosphere was great. Looking forward to dining in next time we are in the city.

We’ve ordered from this restaurant many times, have gone in person to eat, and had issues with an Uber delivery order last night. The food was so bland, no chicken in pad thai dish, no peanut or tamarind in it, noodles just a sticky blob, not a lot of chicken or tofu (paid extra) in the green curry, spring rolls had no taste! barely any mushroom filling, thai-tea drink was not sweet, calamari was tough and stringy? The coconut rice had no coconut milk inside it seemed and it was also quite dry or stale. When Jean owned this place we never had a bad meal over the 20 years of eating her food. Really surprised and disappointed that this new owner has not provided the consistency…and they are asking for money for themselves on Uber on top of paying for their food. This was an $80 meal that I can’t rave about. Uber advised me to leave feedback here, as they don’t listen to the customer or give refunds but DO support low-standards of food in restaurants nowadays. I could make better Thai food for less than half of what I paid for this meal. Really sad as I had good food from here in the past.

This is my first experience at the restaurant and also the most favorite place among all the Thai restaurants,, they organized a surprise birthday and small gift for my friend. The staffs really sweet and enthusiasm. ขอบคุณมาก💓🥰

I genuinely think this is the best Pad Thai in the entire city

Rich and bright flavors, this Danforth spot stands out. The Thai iced tea was thick and rich. Probably some of the best I've had. The short rib was tender and fall-apart. I'd definitely come back if I'm in the area.

By default, I truly enjoy the food at this establishment—the flavors are exceptional, the location is great, and the overall atmosphere is quite pleasant. However, this is the second time I’ve visited and unfortunately encountered a server whose demeanor was notably hostile, unfriendly, and unwelcoming. While not all staff share this attitude, this particular individual’s behavior left me feeling uncomfortable and, frankly, concerned about potential bias or discriminatory undertones.

It’s disappointing when such a wonderful dining experience is overshadowed by poor service. I sincerely hope management takes this into consideration and ensures that all front-of-house staff uphold a standard of professionalism and inclusivity that reflects the quality of the food and environment.

Food was very mediocre. The curry was spicy, but tasteless as it had a very heavy tasting base for Penang Curry. The Pad Thai was dry and tasteless. The service was terrible, quite unfriendly. When we asked questions about specific dishes, the server could not be bothered to give us information to make informed opinions about what to order. She was more concerned with placing any order for us. Ambiance is fine except every five minutes, Delivery Drivers were coming through the front door and along the narrow table area with their phone speakers blasting for the next order..

Very good value for money, great portions and customer service was excellent! If you are looking for an authentic Thai place, this is an option that you should check out!
