Excellent food, atmosphere and service. We will be back!
By default, I truly enjoy the food at this establishment—the flavors are exceptional, the location is great, and the overall atmosphere is quite pleasant. However, this is the second time I’ve visited and unfortunately encountered a server whose demeanor was notably hostile, unfriendly, and unwelcoming. While not all staff share this attitude, this particular individual’s behavior left me feeling uncomfortable and, frankly, concerned about potential bias or discriminatory undertones.
It’s disappointing when such a wonderful dining experience is overshadowed by poor service. I sincerely hope management takes this into consideration and ensures that all front-of-house staff uphold a standard of professionalism and inclusivity that reflects the quality of the food and environment.
Delicious chicken pad Thai!
Thanks for a wonderful night.
The customer service was excellent 👍
Food was very mediocre. The curry was spicy, but tasteless as it had a very heavy tasting base for Penang Curry. The Pad Thai was dry and tasteless. The service was terrible, quite unfriendly. When we asked questions about specific dishes, the server could not be bothered to give us information to make informed opinions about what to order. She was more concerned with placing any order for us. Ambiance is fine except every five minutes, Delivery Drivers were coming through the front door and along the narrow table area with their phone speakers blasting for the next order..
Very good value for money, great portions and customer service was excellent! If you are looking for an authentic Thai place, this is an option that you should check out!
Best thai in toronto. They used to do a tom yum noodle soup. You rarely see it on menus and this one was fantastic everything on their menu has been very good.
Great food, served in an interesting atmosphere by friendly staff. Large portions!
Love the interior!
Khao Soi Beef Rib was to die for! Melt-in-your-mouth beef, which slid out of the bone so easily! Serves 2.
I also really liked their Thai Iced tea.
I came here with family for my birthday. No regrets at all, the food was phenomenal!! I got the Khao Soi with tofu which was deliciously rich and went so well with the egg noodles. My sister got the green curry and my mom got the Pad Kee Mao!

You can never go wrong with a meal from Sala! I've only gotten take out here, but the food was never compromised during transportation.
Great ambience, delicious food and impeccable service!
Thank you for such a great experience!
My favourite Thai restaurant
Delicious and authentic-tasting food, with an atmosphere that brought me right back to Thailand.
We booked a reservation - and lucky we did as the restaurant was packed the whole evening. The actual restaurant environment is very Thai-esque.
Service was a bit slow in terms of getting our orders, checking in, etc. (again, very busy spot) but our food all arrived very quickly.
The portions are very generous - photos don’t really do it justice but the plates on which our mains were served were huge.
For appetizers we ordered the Thai papaya salad and the pork jowl: I am not a huge fan of pork but it was cooked perfectly and the table loved it and the accompanying sauce. The papaya salad tasted just like ones I had in Thailand, and the chips served on the side were a great touch.
As for the mains, everyone was extremely happy with their food.
Pad Ga Prao - I think this received the lowest rating from our group, but a solid 7.5/10
Pad See Ew - great reviews from the table.
King Prawn - massive prawns! Everything was perfectly cooked, could have done with a bit more flavour on the rice.
Pad Kee Mao - this is what I ordered and it surprised me how delicious it was. Of all the dishes at the table I might recommend this one most.
Each table comes with a flight of chilli sauces/oils/sugar/etc. so you can adjust your meal to your liking.
And for dessert - you MUST get the homemade ice cream here. To my dismay I’d forgotten to take a photo but the trio of unique ice cream flavours comes atop a small mount of sticky rice (which pairs much nicer than we suspected). All of us were a bit reluctant to get any dessert after a massive dinner but we all agreed it was incredible and the best thing we had all night.
All in all, I like that this place feels a bit more homey than other “rave” Thai spots in Toronto, while still delivering delicious and authentic food, and I might even come back to this one over the others (even if just for the ice cream).
Good service and employees they are kindly ❤️🫶
