Our server Roy had great attention to detail and was so warm and welcoming. The food came out picture perfect and so delicious. Highly recommend for both the food and the atmosphere. Easy to grab a quick meal or stay for a while.

The mango salad with the chicken satay is my go to. Less than $20 and it’s huge, with enough leftovers for a full meal tmrw, can’t beat that. Meat is super tender and peanut sauce is the best I’ve ever had. Consist every time I’ve been here.

The staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful. The mango salad wasn't the best I've had but still good. Could be more protein in the mains but flavor was still good!
Fantastic food and huge portions for the price.

I've been eating at Salad King since I was a Rye High (aka TMU) student back in the early 90's, when it was just a small restaurant on Gould St. This has been my favourite Thai restaurant IN THE WORLD ever since. Why?
- Homemade curry paste, made fresh every week.
- Secret menu items from the past that are still available (you HAVE to try Thai Islamic Noodle for example - dine in is best!).
- Fusion jaw dropping, drool-inducing delicacies like Beef Wellington in a red curry sauce!
- A consistent spice system for the heat lover that goes all the way to 20 chiles! I love my food spicier than most, but I can only go to a 7!
- Most of all the people who work there are super nice and always do their best to make sure you leave with a smile on your face and a full, if slightly hot, belly! The owners Ernest and Lynda are a lovely couple who are really good at hiring kind, talented and dedicated staff, many who stay on for years. I love this second location on Queen St - dining is more intimate than the Young St. location, which gets pretty busy, and quite a bit louder, than this location.
