I have been to many greek restaurants in Toronto, but none are like Salonika restaurant. The flavours were true to northern Greece, and the hosts offered authentic, warm hospitality, a slice of home where you could hear greek spoken in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The food is delicious, we ordered many small dishes and had meze style dinner, and they delivered some of the best food we've had in the city. The melitzanosalata (eggplant salad) and tzatziki were absolute bangers, fresh and light. They also brought us pita bread and some crispy toasted greek bread coated with olive oil and herbs (ladoriganh). The fried calamari is the best in town in my experience, thin crispy rings, well seasoned and they felt light which means they were cooked to perfection. My personal favourite was the keftedakia, I cant believe how much it reminded me of home. I have no words, they were perfect. To top it all off, the karithopita was a perfect dessert to follow our dinner. Overall, I recommend Salonika to everyone who would a taste of Greece or just want good food and a warm, special experience in the heart of the Danfort

We had a wonderful large dinner party here. The owner was amazing and accommodated every request. The food was amazing and their house white wine was extremely good. We were visiting from Ohio and it was awesome to get genuine Greek food. A fantastic cultural experience. I highly recommend!!!

Such an amazing place to eat! Paul was super speedy and very attentive. This is a family run restaurant and I believe those are always the best! The food portions were good and everything we had was delicious. They even gave us a complimentary home made walnut cake. Couldn’t recommend more! Will be back.:)

Amazing food and great overall experience. We came for dinner on a weeknight with the whole family and everyone left happy. Would highly recommend this new spot on the Danforth!
Thank you to the incredibly uneducated and ignorant staff member who harassed a civilian on a public sidewalk with a camera for showing everyone what type of people this restaurant employs. It is legal to record in public, there is no expectation of privacy in public, your customers feelings are irrelevant and you did in fact commit assault with your actions toward the civilian with a camera. Whomever you are, you're a fool! Learn the Canadian laws and be a better human.
