I’ve been coming here for years and unfortunately shrinkflation has become a thing at Salt.

I remember over the years how the plates were and while I don’t mind paying a higher price, I absolutely hate paying a higher price for less food, it’s just not worth it, especially for people that have come there several times over the years.

Had a really nice meal, most everything was delicious, the paella was burnt sadly but they understood and compensated us which we really appreciated. But the other dishes were so good! Definitely recommend the wagyu sliders those were my favourite!

Nice space with very pretty decor! Overall decent food but the price point and value is what brings down the ratings unfortunately. Portion sizes are small and prices are rather steep for what you get. We had the 2 cheese and 2 charcuterie (which we loved the cheese and meats but the side of grapes and pickled veggies were embarrassingly small). For $30 i felt like i could get a much bigger spread elsewhere. We also had the paella which was tasty but the seafood itself was super salty. The size of the paella was also small and the dish being shallow meant much less food while being charged $40 for this. I think this review is consistent with what most people have found here that the value to what we were fed was where there was a disconnect. The wine list is nice and extensive and the staff are happy to help make recommendations which was helpful!

Delicious cocktails, good service, outstanding Wagyu burgers and dulce de leche ice cream. Piri piri fried chicken was also very crispy and juicy. The rest of the food was very good, not exceptional, and overpriced. At about half of what we paid this would have been 5 stars. I know everything has gotten very expensive but going out for dinner is becoming out of reach for many people.

Have been a few times and the food is good. However, I had a really disappointing service the most recent time. No waiters ever came by our table, and every single time to order I had to flag someone down. Meanwhile, other tables around us were getting service. The “manager” gave a half-assed excuse about the kitchen being busy, but to have not one single waiter ever come over to check on us was extremely frustrating and disappointing. This used to be on my list of recommendations I'd give to friends, but I think I'll be taking it off that list - there are way better restaurants out there in Toronto.

Always love the options for food at Salt. Such great wine pairing options as well. Portion sizes are good - most dishes were nice for sharing with 4, but one (duck croquettes) was quite small. Really enjoyed everything including the service which was attentive without it being overbearing.

Service was impeccable and the delicious food was paced well. A little noisy for our old ears but tolerable. We recommend and will return.

Food was amazing and service was wonderful. Our server helped us decide which Tapas to order and he picked a perfect variety.
