“My favourite Latin restaurant in the city! It's Colombian but prepares the best Mexican this side of the border, and does El Salvadorian well as well. It's a local staple. I've never been disappointed. It's been well received by every guest that we've invited. It's kid friendly, which is crucial, as I have 3.
I can't wait to get in there again to enjoy my favourite dish; Camarones a la Diabla. Spicy!“

“Stumbled upon this place by accident and I am so glad! I’ve been searching for authentic Central American food since I moved to Toronto and this place tastes just like home. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.
I’ll be visiting often now!“

“This was the first place I tried pupusas with curtido and fell in love with them back in 2019. I've since had them at various places, and I returned to here about 2 weeks ago to try them again. I had the fried beans & cheese and the lorocco (Salvadoran flower bud) & cheese, and loved them both. Affordable and delicious. I also tried their Ensalada de Frutas beverage for the first time and it was so good. A new favourite drink of mine. Service was also great.“

“My first experience with this place was through Uber Eats, and everything was absolutely delicious. We ordered different kinds of pupusas—chorizo with cheese and beans, as well as cheese with jalapeño—plus tamales and tamarind and horchata drinks. Everything was so tasty! It’s an authentic spot with affordable prices and generous portions. Last time, I finally got to try it in person at Plaza Latina, and everything was just as delicious as always. It’s one of my favorite places to go!“

“We were visiting Toronto for the first time and really wanted some authentic Salvadoran food—this place did not disappoint! Since it was Tuesday, they had pupusas on special for just $3, and we also tried the chicharrón with yuca, sopa de res (a hearty beef and vegetable soup), and pastor tacos. Everything was delicious!
The location might seem a little off the beaten path, but that just added to its charm. It’s owner-operated, and the service was warm and welcoming. Definitely a great spot for anyone craving Salvadoran flavors in Toronto!“

“Amazing pupusas!! Of course the wait time is gonna be a little longer, they're made fresh, duh. LOL! If there's a few orders before yours it is gonna be a bit longer, but I've never waited more than 10 minutes! I literally come to the market just for these pupusas!!“

“Such a hidden gem!
The food was authentic, flavourful, and clearly made with care. You can tell this is a local spot that’s been doing things the right way for a long time. Everything tasted fresh and comforting without feeling too heavy.
Prices were reasonable, portions were solid, and the service was warm and welcoming. This is the kind of place you come to support locals and leave genuinely satisfied.
I’ll definitely be back and would recommend this spot to anyone looking for authentic Latin food in the area.
I share local food reviews on TikTok under EbonyEats__ , and this place definitely deserved a feature.“
