Absolutely delicious! This gem of a restaurant was the highlight of the last leg of our trip. The lamb shank was fall of the bone tender, the paella flavorful, and the supreme chicken melted in your mouth. Highly recommend and we will be back.

This is a hidden gem at the Church and Wellesley village. Food and services are always excellent. Price is good and they give you very generous portions. I love their shrimp pasta there. Been here for brunch a few times and their steak and eggs are excellent.

At past 12, we decided to dine in the well-established, welcoming, and cozy restaurant, Sambucas. We ordered black pepper salmon and santa cleopatra panini. They were delicious, good portioned, and satisfying. Service was great. Atmosphere and ambiance were accomodating. It was not too busy after lunch. Seating is indoor and plentiful. Washrooms are clean and at the back. Wait times for meals are reasonable. No other complain just good comments.

I am consistently wowed by the professionalism of the service. Never feel disappointed when the plate is put in front of me. Tasty well prepared, and fresh choices.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The food on the other hand was below average. I ordered the Prix Fixe T-Bone steak. The steak was very thin and slightly overcooked. I could have lived with that but there was so much gristle that most of the steak was unedible. The vegetables were outstanding but the potatoes were dry. I left the restaurant as hungry as I was when I entered. As this was a birthday meal for my girlfriend and she chose the restaurant, i put up with the below average quality of the food. I did order the steak without the peppercorn sauce which I am sure would have covered the burnt taste of the steak. My girlfriend enjoyed the apple chicken dish. I would recommend people stay away from the two steak dishes as the place cheaps out on the quality of meat and it is obvious they do not know how to cook the steak properly. The front of the restaurant was open to the environment and it seemed like the front of this place was the favorite place for everyone to gather and smoke. We were towards the back of the restaurant and the smoking still agitated my allergy to this nasty habit.

The server ruined our meal. I'm not sure what his deal was but he made it very obvious that he didn't like my guest. And I don't care what his issue was, I was the one paying the bill and he made it a very unpleasant experience. Wild horses couldn't make be come back, and I've been a customer since the restaurant opened. Very unprofessional.

Outdated decor. The lamb shank is really good. The waiter with the piercings was amazing. There was another waiter that was rude but we didn’t deal with him often.
