Despite sitting French Toast not being takeout food, I still thoroughly enjoyed my experience. The bread still retains some of its crispness, along with a fluffy and chewy interior that is stuffed with a savory peanut butter filling that contrasts with the sweet maple syrup and a knob of butter on top. I'm going out of order, but the savory dish has my preferred egg fried rice base, soaked in a sweet and tangy tomato sauce. Then, the porkchop and cheese go on top, which is baked for an attractive browned appearance of the mozzarella, melting it for that characteristic chewiness.

Nice place to quietly enjoy some hong kong cafe food . Instead traveling in horrible north to get it. Lots of small family eating in when I was there .

Located near Donlands Station, Sammi offers authentic Hong Kong bistro cuisine that satisfies the craving for breakfast and a taste of Hong Kong. We would come back if we were ever in the area again, as their Hong Kong Milk Tea was truly delicious!
The restaurant's menu is straightforward, featuring a variety of categories that include Hong Kong Style Noodle Soup sets, Classic Breakfast sets, Weekend rice, comfort food, and beverages. Notably, both hot and iced drinks are priced the same when ordering with the sets, which is a refreshing change compared to other restaurants that usually charge a tad more for cold beverages. During our visit, we ordered from the weekend brunch menu, opting for Set B, which included Satay Beef Noodles served with toast and eggs, allowing for a choice between sunny-side or scrambled. The Satay Beef was seasoned exactly like we imagined it, along with the well-scrambled egg. Also, we tried the Classic Breakfast, which is a safe yet satisfying option for those unfamiliar with the Hong Kong-style breakfast. The meal featured a warm croissant, nicely fried bacon, sausage and ham, typical baked beans, and a refreshing salad that served as a palate cleanser. One of the highlights of Sammi is undoubtedly its Iced Hong Kong Milk Tea which was one of the best we have had. The rich and creamy beverage perfectly pairs with the bistro-style dishes, making it a must-try for visitors.
The space at Sammi is relatively small, accommodating about four to five tables with four-seat options and two tables with two-seat options, which may lead to some wait times during peak hours. However, the service is efficient and smooth, with staff using mobile devices to take orders. The staff are friendly and appear to cater well to families, providing kid-friendly dishware and having books on a shelf that enhance the dining experience.

It’s one of those spots that is doing good enough but they could really put a solid stamp on the neighborhood by enhancing the overall experience. It’s reasonably priced. The service is friendly and your stay can be pretty quick which helps in a neighbourhood with a high walkability rep.

Came here a bit before 11am and there was no line up. I ordered the beef satay noodle set which came with two eggs, toast and a drink. The noodle soup was very flavorful and tasted really good, eggs and toast also done right. Drink was also good, got it cold at no extra change (other places I've went do charge an extra $1) but there was too much ice so it did get watered down towards the end. The portions weren't huge but it was alright for the price, I would come back. Also tried the kaya French toast which we also liked.

Get the French toast with Kaya. Had to get it to go, it was amazing. I can't stop thinking about it! It's probably even better dining in.
Lemon water was just ok, but the French toast with Kaya jam inside is legit! No wonder it has thumbs up on the menu!

Spending 200 mins for a lunch. ( travelling time. and waiting time ).no regret, no comment about the service because 茶餐廳 typically not for services. If you ever visiting the Australian Dairy Company, Jordan in Hong Kong , Sammi Offers excellent services. Is the food good , tasteful or not. The impression is that food is cooked with heart and pay attention to detail. This is the core value of Hong Konger.

Cute spot for what my friend tells me is an authentic Hong Kong style breakfast. The noodles with beef (Plan B) were simple but yummy, the eggs and toast were perfect and the fish ball and siu mai skewers were a nice addition. And the meal with my choice of hot milk tea was well priced. A perfect Sunday breakfast on a snowy day.

There was a large piece of plastic in the eggs and when I told our server they didn’t even apologize. They brought me a new egg dish which I didn’t want to eat after biting into a large piece of plastic and they didn’t even offer to compensate me for dish and I had to pay for it. The restaurant itself is pretty, but I question the cleanliness of the kitchen and do not recommend coming here.
