Took my order, and I waited in minimalist setting with a couple of high chair seats at window counter. Very small footprint for customers to wait. Order prepared and handed to me in about 10 minutes (a single muffeletta sandwich) with one other person in front of me just before noon. Food was OK, but nothing
Stopped in for lunch today and bought a chicken sandwich. People were nice and service was fairly quick. Unfortunately it was definitely not freshly cooked and barely warm. Imagine paying almost $20 for a sandwich and a drink and it's old dry chicken. I've eaten at many San Frans; College and Clinton of course, but others in mississauga and vaughan etc.. also many Italian sandwich shops and never have been served old dry chicken. Always hot and fresh. Wouldn't waste my money there again unfortunately.
I ordered a panzarotto with green peppers, mushrooms and pepperoni and received one with green olives, mushrooms and NO pepperoni. Poorly cooked and poorly prepared. The veal sandwiches ordered by the rest of my party were no better. Will never order from here again!
Food is always amazing and the garlic parm fries are a must have.
This is not the “original San Francesco” in any way. I made a special trip to this location hoping to recapture the memory of a great chicken cutlet sandwich I remembered from childhood. It’s not even called that on the menu, it’s “bomba chicken sandwich”.. ? The breaded cutlet has spices it shouldn’t have, not at all italian. Disappointing. I gave it two stars because it came on a decent bun , and thankfully the brio washed it all down. Please don’t call this “original”.
My dad and I favourite place to detour to for a meal when travelling in the city. Amazing food , great portions, fair prices and always friendly fast service. My dad used to visit SanFrans religious with his uncle growing up and can tell you every story that goes with every amazing veal of a bun he’s had in his life.

One of the worst food place ever .I used to work at this place during summer. They treat their employees really bad and take money from them. Pay are always missing money. They are very unprofessional and gossip about coworkers to each other. Workers are totally underpaid and doesn’t even let them sit down during free time..
Some of the absolute best veal sandwiches in the city. Fresh and delicious!
Great sandwiches and fries (and pizza) and wonderful service. On a day when the weather is great, try sitting on the small patio which has a nice mix of access to the shade and the sun. Definitely recommend.

The veal is just okay. With 1 topping, a regular veal sandwich, fries and drink will cost you $22.
A delicious veal sandwich should always be a messy one! Plenty of sauce and flavour. Great veal.
Food was ok, but waaay overpriced. Was actually surprised how small the sandwich is for the price.
Very nice people in a comfortable neighborhood shop and great-looking menu! Can’t wait to try the other authentic looking items!
One of two places that serve really good authentic italian ?? Veal sandwiches ?
