We did delivery and all the food was fresh and delicious. The lemon chicken was outstanding! Portions are also very generous - we spent $85 for two of us and will have food for three days.

Food has gone downhill- new owners perhaps? But my biggest issue is that the online menu prices don’t match their current in restaurant prices - so our take out order ended up costing $8+ more than we expected. Some dishes have jumped by $3. I get that prices change, but your website should reflect current pricing. I have raised this issue to the front of house staff and basically just got a “yes - those prices are wrong” response.

We ordered Kung pao chicken. It was extremely disappointing. There was 4 pieces of chicken in the whole pack. And tons of cashews. It didnt have much flavour either

I do like this place. And I like to support. But I been here 40 min waiting for my order. So I dunno. It ain’t busy…45 min by the time I got my food. A few people came in and ordered and got food but it was pretty empty.
👎👎👎 bad

They are a rip off they sell a dish but keep the rice to themselves . They eat all meals with white rice themselves so they know rice must be given with all vegetable and meat dishes but when we buy a dish they dont give us the rice. That is stealing

I ordered chow mein based on the photos of the food, and it looked nothing like what was advertised. The noodles were soggy and thin, completely different from the picture. The chili chicken was also a huge disappointment – bland, lacking any real flavor, and nothing like proper chili chicken. Overall, very deceiving presentation from this restaurant.

Had the Hakka chicken with rice special. $11.99. Flavours were spot on with fresh green chilies adding a nice heat level. About 5 good size pieces of fired chicken. Bok choy and onions were the veg. Big portion. Clean place. Non-existent ambience. The kind of place where the pop comes in a can and you open it yourself ( that's not a dig, that's my preference and you never get it ) and it's only 1.75$. Great budget option with tasty food. I'd go again.
The salt and pepper fish with the ginger beef chef's kiss

We also didn’t realize ownership had changed . Too bad . 150$ later we won’t be ordering from there again.
Gave an amazing review a few years back but came back recently only to discover that the prices have gone up and the quality of food has gone down. Ownership has changed too.
It pains me to write this, as Sandys has been a go-to for so many of us in the neighborhood for a decade. Unfortunately, ownership has changed, and the food is no longer good. Not just bad, but old and inedible. Hate this change for them, but I hope the previous owners are enjoying retirement. Go somewhere else
