This place is amazing. Good variety of tapas, paellas are incredible as well as drinks. Good wine and very accommodating staff when it comes to different types of food. Ambience is very cool with lower lights and fun music.
One of my favourite restaurants in Toronto! For tapas, great wine, and service, this is the spot!
Exceptional food! Several homemade, balanced, and flavourful Spanish sauces made the dishes we had really stand out. The paella and artichoke with jamon were exceptional but all of our dishes were wonderful. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and friendly. They took pride in the authenticity of their recipes and showed real care in their service and execution. I will return, and recommend to friends. Visiting Santa Marta was a very special evening.
It was good, can’t tell you I was impressed, expected more from paella. Anchovies on the other had very amazing, very rich flavour.

Outstanding service. Beautiful space with a great ambience, yummy traditional drinks and Spanish bar snacks, and wonderful staff. Couldn't ask for more.
This was a very unfortunate experience. When we arrived at the restaurant on Wednesday, it was closed for summer vacation. Neither OpenTable nor the restaurant reached out to us to tell us which REALLY ticked us off considering they had already been closed since the 24th of August. Not impressed. Called the restaurant and spoke to the owner who apologized profusely and offered to make good should we decide to go back (which we are because it really is a GOOD restaurant). Can't say the same for OpenTable though!! By the way, Archive - a little wine bar further along Dundas was great that evening.
Spectacular Spanish food. Warm, hospitable service. We caught them on the last night before 2.5 weeks closure for vacation, so now red wine bottles left, but the bottle of rose and find and tonics were on point. Seafood paella was perfect.
Service was great with one of the server (probably the owner) but the other one appeared to be quite “lost”. Food was great, despite the other noisy table, we had a great time
It was fantastic food that I have been looking for since I left Spain 9 years ago. I will definitely be back the next time I am in Toronto.

I have longed for an authentic Spanish experience and have tried various restaurants in Toronto, but I was still in search of the best. Finally, I discovered it at Santa Marta Bar y Tapas! This place has so much character, and I know I will return many times. The staff is vibrant and kind; truly the best of the best!

Stopped in after Ossfest for an unplanned dinner and we were pleasantly surprised. The food and drinks were wonderful - each dish was full of flavour and came with a hearty amount to share. I also have to shoutout our waiter - I didn’t catch his name but he was attentive and super friendly! Highly recommend.
