I had the beef fried rice and it was delicious. The rice has some eggs and was delightfully flavourful. Not sure if they added anything in it, but it was delicious. The beef was tasty, but could have been a bit more tender, or sliced into smaller pieces. But overall absolutely lovely meal. Thank you

Avoid at all costs. I ordered the signature angus beef udon and received an almost empty bowl with a raw unpeeled egg on the side. I also ordered a tonkatsu that looked like someone else’s leftovers. Attaching a photo of what I expected vs what I got. Do yourself a favour and eat somewhere else.

I ordered the Angus beef udon, the Signature Sanuki Style, and it was perfect. The beef was so tender. The soup was so delicious, I didn’t need to do any seasoning at all.
The waiter was so nice. The chef was so nice. The atmosphere was so nice. Everything was so perfect. This place is recommended!! Gotta come back again.

Their udon noodles are good. Nice chew and bounce to them. The soup broth has a lot of flavour. Not overly salty. Dishes come with lots of ingredients. It doesn't seem like it but it was enough for me.

I visited this restaurant on a Saturday night. The food was alright, not great. I ordered udon tofu and I asked if they could add vegetables, they said they didn’t have any; they have mushroom tempera on the menu, I asked if they could add mushrooms they said no. Finally they agreed to add seaweed. Their only vegetable. Lol.
My partner asked for a knife for his meal, the waiter said they didn’t have knives. 🫠
The only decent part of the meal was the curry.
Overall the food was mediocre at best.
Best to avoid.

I solo ate here and I found the udon noodles chewy and delicious. The broth was similar to what I had in Japan. Their lunch special is always a good deal. I'll be trying their Soba noodles next time. One thing I think they can work on are the tempura. I wish it was crisper with less flour.

I was extremely disappointed by both the food and the overall dining experience. We ordered curry donkatsu udon, beef soup udon, and a side of fried chicken. The udon was overcooked to the point of being mushy, lacking any of the chewiness I would expect, and it snapped apart easily with disposable chopsticks. The curry was completely overwhelmed by black pepper, which masked the actual curry flavor. The donkatsu was bland and forgettable, and the fried chicken was equally underwhelming.
To make matters worse, the pair of Japanese customers seated beside us spent the entire meal openly badmouthing me and my partner in Japanese—apparently assuming we wouldn’t understand. It was incredibly disrespectful, uncomfortable, and ruined any chance of enjoying the evening.
Overall, I left feeling very let down—not only by the poor quality of the food, but also by the unpleasant atmosphere.

It's a bit salty, but it's delicious
Delicious! Got their beef special and the meat itself was so tender, juicy, and we'll seasoned. Lovely place and also kid friendly. Food was very good and fulfilling!

The menu did not have numerous items to offer during peak dinnertime on a Saturday night. They also have a “vegetarian” section of the menu but nothing on it is vegetarian, according to our server. Everything contains fish broth. We could not eat anything on the menu.
The service was amazing but the food was diabolical. Cold tempura, overwhelmingly sweet broth, and mid noodles. I'm dumbfounded by the other reviews. If you've been to a single other udon place, Sanuki doesn't compare!
