We went here specifically for the winter set, and it was absolutely worth the visit. Visually, it was stunning and really felt like an experience rather than just a dessert. The matcha bowl was also very good, and the maple syrup surprisingly paired really well with the matcha, adding a nice balance without overpowering it. The bear cookie and cream was cute, but taste wise it was something I could have skipped.

The cafe itself is charming and aesthetically pleasing, but the seating area is quite small and not the most comfortable. It would be even better with more space and comfier seating so you could fully relax and enjoy the experience.

Overall, it was a great visit and I will definitely be coming back, especially for the set and the matcha.

Hubby really enjoyed his anmitsu matcha parfait. Melon soda was just as expected, sweet and delicious! The space is shared with the ramen restaurant.

Incredible matcha soft serve! Waiting to have their hojicha soft serve again, best spot in the city for matcha. Highly recommend for matcha lovers. Did not try their dessert or bubble teas.

the matcha strawberry ice cream was tasty as well, very refreshing

The matcha/strawberry swirl ice cream was very aesthetically pleasing to the eye, and the portion was massive, but it was too sweet and the two opposing textures of the matcha ice cream and strawberry sorbet weren't hitting for me. I feel like their other Japanese desserts are probably more up my alley but I didn't have a chance to try this time. Definitely will be back to try other items tho

the matcha was so deep and rich in flavour. the colour was super green, way better than any matcha ice cream i’ve had so far. they source it from japan so no wonder why it taste the way it does.

I stopped by Saryo Cafe on Yonge Street and had such a nice time. I tried the matcha ice cream, which was super creamy with the perfect earthy matcha flavor. My mom got the strawberry matcha, and it looked bright and tasty. I also tried the yuzu soda, and it was refreshing and light, perfect for a little pick me up. The best part was trying matcha the traditional way, just whisked with water, and it was smooth and surprisingly pleasant. Everything felt authentic and relaxing.

My second time here.

The place (cafe) is extremely small, so is usually great place to wrap and go.
Everything looks delicious and stuff is always working hard.
I’m just taking 1 start out because I don’t get why they have Hojicha soft serve on the menu/ screen if is never available (I understand they have an small machine and Matcha is way more popular than Hojicha, but I like Hojicha more and I can’t never find it)

A little bit ridiculous how the workers don’t know the ingredients inside of the food. So I ate something I had a allergy for

Very cute cafe, light japanese music on the background, and good choice of different desserts
