A split plate fee? What? Big no. The arrogance…
Been here 3 times now and the food has always been great. No surprises but sometimes it’s nice to just have your expectations met. If you want a solid, classic meal, I recommend this restaurant.

I have eaten here a few times over the years. Food was always excellent. Not this time though. I think the chef left. Food was awful. Lamb was over cooked and the parsip goo was something I would make for a baby. Gravy was terrible as well. Schnitzel was flavorless and the dessert was an overly tart lemon meringue that turned into runny slop. Patio was nice though.

Enjoyed a very nice dinner at the bistro. The service was top notch. We were encouraged to share dishes and didn't get charged the split fees. Food was great with dishes that came with a twist (lemon tiramisu?).

I enjoyed dinner for one during Jazz Festival week. I was seated at the busy bar which was great for people watching, but not as relaxing as a table. I had the halibut with a glass of white and creme brulee. The fish was nice, served with fennel and a few potatoes. The sauce was quite thin but I mashed the potatos into it to enjoy the flavour. The brulee had a perfectly thin, burnt sugar top which cracked nicely and a creamy base. I couldn't finish it all. Only one small area for improvement which is very picky, the Irish coffee. But a nice atmosphere, very busy, an efficient bar server who was smiley and friendly and was doing a great job. The managers/owners seemed more harassed and less smiley but that's understandable as the torrential rain didn't help with seating! Would recommend and return.

Nice cozy decor. Unlike the name of the restaurant, menu has Korean, Italian, Morrocan, etc. Nice place to hang out with neighbors and chat to chill.

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner and the service was attentive but not too much. We will return!
Wonderful place

We tried four dishes, and unfortunately, only one had real flavor. The rest of the food was bland and lacked any depth. This place has nothing to do with an authentic French restaurant. While the decor is charming and the staff polite, it doesn’t make up for the disappointing cuisine. Overall, it felt overpriced for the quality offered.
Terrible experience with sub standard food and a very noisy area. Waiter sliding chairs around. We were not the only ones annoyed by the night. 4 dollars to share an app and it came on 1 plate in the middle.
Great service and the food excellent
Great experience overall. We went this week with my fiancee and friends and we had and excellent experience. The restaurant was packed, which gives off a good first impression. The menu was not too small and not too big, a good variety of different meals leaving something for each palette to enjoy. Nice decorum overall, giving off a lively a fresh atmosphere.
Waiters were knowledgeable and didn't come to the table too frequently, yet they were very attentive to empty glasses and offered a refill promptly.
The food was very good. We shared some appetizers and then had a main course. The duck confit looked and tasted great. I can strongly recommend the steak, it was cooked nicely and created an explosion of flavours when i tried the first bite. Will very likely be back soon.
Lovely restaurant in the area. Great service. We enjoyed the mussels and duck confit. Personally prefer la pallate on queen w but this is great too
