Whoever the cooks were blessed by the spirits when I came. Even the eggs, which I normally find ‘meh’ seemed to have goodness and positive vibes thrust upon them! The demons who possessed the owners to price their food that high though… I will ensure they are exercised accordingly. Nothing should be that pricy.

I came in September 2025 on a weekday and had a wonderful experience. The food was full or flavour and a filling portion. If you’re looking for soft scrambled eggs, look no further. They may just be better than Arthur’s in Montreal.

Love this spot! I have been twice now and have been super happy both times. We made a reservation for 4ppl at 11am on a Saturday, and that was honoured- no extra waiting or anything like other folks have mentioned. The server was friendly and knowledgeable, and the food was incredible. It is always busy (yay), so don't expect a rushed brunch and super fast service, but they also don't hustle you out, and you have some time to enjoy your coffee after your meal. Overall, 10/10!

I’m usually not one to write reviews, but this experience deserves one. Avoid this place at all costs. We had a 1:00 PM reservation and still waited 30 minutes to be seated—with a reservation. I’m currently a server myself, and the level of service we received was completely unacceptable. The 18% tip I left felt like a chore rather than a reflection of the experience. Extremely disappointing.

That Server Nial was so funny and was fantastic. Food was great, the Chefs do a great job, and our drinks, my sangria and cappuccino were lovely. Would Definitely recommend!!

We have been coming here for 7-8 years. The initial hype may have faded, simply due to the passage of time, but the food is always high quality and delicious. The decor/vibe remains nice. One little bit of feedback: it was quite chilly inside on our January 2026 visit, unlike any of our past visits. Not sure if that is just a temporary issue. All in all, SCHOOL is a reliable place that we will keep coming back to for well-prepared brunch.

Probably one of the worst places in Toronto when it comes to management and organization, and welcoming customers. Hostess that is supposed to manage front of shop kept vanishing, and the staff were running around and ignoring you like you're some sort of ghost. I get that it gets busy and the place is understaffed, but it is no excuse for disjointed operations and bad attitude. Stood in line for 45+ mins today without being greeted and actively ignored, and when the hostess (woman with long redhead curly hair) came to finally check on the line, she nonchalantly told us that there are other people ahead and we can leave if we are unsatisfied when asked about the wait times.
Great spot gone downhill. Terrible management - forced to wait over an hour despite having a reservation and being on time.
They are extremely understaffed. The same individual is seating people, clearing tables, wiping cutlery. The only server there let everyone’s food lying on the counter for 10-15 minutes, eggs arrived cold. This place was so inhospitable.

Place has good food but clearly had managerial issues. Room was freezing, coffee took 30+ minutes to arrive and was lukewarm.
Our server was nice but was seemingly abandoned in a sense. She was expected to be her own host, barista, and busser which will just never function properly.
Have been here twice and essentially experienced the same thing both times. Not usually one to write reviews but it felt like this should be brought to managements attention and how they’re setting up their staff for failure.

This is my first time going to School restaurant the food was good but l notice the restaurant l felt cold during the winter they should put a heat lamp or put heat up in restaurant

The food is amazing here. I loved every piece of it! The staff was caring, too. All the tables were full and it was very busy but they still managed to bring us the food within a reasonable time
