We chose Score on King for New Years Eve because we wanted some place casual. When making this decision, we were told the countdown would be on TV and a celebratory drink at midnight. The World Junior Hockey Game was on TV (Canada v Finland) which was great. Around 11:30, the countdown was put on the TV but it was from New York NOT Toronto. When the countdown happened, that was that, there was no music/sound from the TV. This was a little disappointing.
The service was not very good it was the bartender serving our table and running the bar. We all enjoyed our food, I did not enjoy the house salad which was just lettuce and a disgusting dressing poured all over it. I wasn't asked about it or offered anything else. We were all waiting for water refill which didn't come.
We went to this restaurant late at night on a sudden decision, and it turned out to be such a great choice! The vibes were amazing—relaxed yet lively—and the food was delicious. We ordered nachos with the artichoke cheese dip, and it was absolutely perfect. The drinks were also fantastic, really well made and refreshing.
Overall, a wonderful late-night spot with great atmosphere, tasty food, and amazing drinks. Definitely a place I’d go back to!
