Great food
AMAZING food 100% recommend if you want real authentic Jamaican cuisine. The owners are super nice and friendly. Will 100% be back.
We celebrated my wife’s birthday at Scotthill, where a warm and welcoming server created a memorable Caribbean atmosphere with its music, art, and décor. The menu offered a variety of dishes to suit every taste. We started with fish fritters as an appetizer, followed by the jerk pork, fried chicken, ackee and saltfish with provisions, and stew chicken. Each plate was accompanied by a bowl of excellent organic vegetable soup, which perfectly balanced the flavours of the main course with a touch of pepper.
The main courses lived up to their promise, bursting with flavour and with portion sizes that were just right. To top it off, the hostess brought out a slice of black cake with a candle in honour of my wife’s special day. I highly recommend Scotthill for any special occasion.
Got the ackee and saltfish side today and the meal multiple times in the past, the food is delicious every single time and the service is impeccable. Definitely one of my favourite restaurants in the GTA.

Restaurantji Recommends
Let me preface I’m comparing this to fine dining, and not the regular Caribbean restaurants you find around the city. This place is above and beyond those. I’m holding them to a higher standard which they deserve.
So this place is great. The atmosphere is wonderful, it’s nicely decorated without being tacky. Nothing taped to the wall, no push pins in sight, and it’s clean and neat.
The menu is solid. It’s not overly packed, it’s well organized, but still has something for everyone.
The food presentation was beautiful, and not just slapped together. This was plated, not dished.
I had the jerk pork. Again, remember I’m rating this against high end establishments. The rice and peas were a bit dry. I’m used to fluffier rice with more moisture. The jerk pork was seasoned to perfection, and this is real jerk. It was Smokey, and rendered amazingly, but it was just a tad dry. However they have an extra sauce bowl on the side, use it for the flavour, not because there’s anything wrong here.
I’d happily return with friends to give them some great Jamaican cuisine.

The food was good, I would have enjoyed coconut in the rice and peas, and a spicy jerk sauce, otherwise, the service was great, the atmosphere captured the essence of the Caribbean. The cleanliness of the washroom needs improvement.

With complimentary soup and warm service, the main event is the well seasoned delicious food. Portion sizes were generous.
We used Keith's catering service for an event for 80 people. We ordered jerk chicken, veggie channa, rice and peas, coleslaw, sweet potato pudding and jamaican rum cake. The food was so delicious and the portions were very generous. Everyone was very pleased with the catered dinner and raved about the food!
