Good fish and chips. Generous portions. Prices reflect current pricing at similar places. The service was good. A little crowded on a Friday evening, but we enjoyed our meals. Friendly staff. There's not a lot of tables, so it's a bit cramped for dining in. Maybe consider take-out.
Have tried this fish and chips place twice now for takeout. The Pickerel fish is a new favourite of mine that I can't get at other places. The second time visiting there was no in person dining available so we got our order to go. Sadly the brown container for our gravy got crushed/spilled everywhere along with the tartar sauce so there could be an improvement in the type of packaging used but otherwise happy to keep supporting this place.
The price point is high for fish and chips, and the fish has been overcooked the two times I've ordered (I tried to subtly request that it not be the second time I ordered). A real shame because if they get that right, in terms of taste/flavour, this place is a winner.
