When we tasted it, it couldn’t be anymore blander. Watered down way too much as we expected by color of the drink. To be precise it tasted like 95% water and 5% espresso. Too bland.
So I went back to the store to ask how many espresso shots inside then a man who made the coffee told us that it’s bland because it’s decaffeinated. I’ve tried decaf iced americano from other branches of Second Cup coffee so many times and they never were like this one.
He said he followed the recipe and we were supposed to add a shot if we wanted something strong because there is single shot for small sized Americano. Literally What is he saying..!? I have never paid for extra shots to make it taste strong. It was always okay in other Second Cup places.
I pretended that I understood everything to make the conversation end because he was talking nonsense… then he started to explain some Flat white drink and Ristretto blah blah blah.. I couldn’t stand him anymore. Not only He didn’t understand our point, but also he tried to defend himself so bad to the point where I gave up.
We still got a replacement but that didn’t make us feel any better to be honest. The only thing we wanted was just that we got what we paid for. Even if what he said to us was right, then I think you guys have to check the recipe and fix it. I do not want to pay $4.15 for this drink never ever again. I should have taken a picture to show people how bad it was.
The employees at this location have to check the image in the official website and compare it to the one you gave us.

Best Second Cup experience! I visit daily, and it’s always such a nice experience. The staff are super friendly, and the way they greet you genuinely uplifts your mood—especially on a tough day. The coffee is always fresh, and the new owners, Parth and Shreya, are absolutely wonderful. Also, their banana bread is a must-try! It’s the little things that make a big difference.

I ordered two large drinks with an extra shots of espresso, I tried to use my free drink with my rewards app, the drink was free but she she asked me for almost 4$ for the extra shots of espresso. I’m a member since 2012 and never ever when I’m using my free drink I’ve been asked to be an extra. The drink itself was meh and I feel like the milk was burnt.

I LOVE the team they have, wonderful group of people. If I’m having a bad morning, they genuinely turn my whole day around!!
Their espresso is next level, you won’t find good espresso anywhere else in the mall. I absolutely adore their seasonal menu, especially the Cinnamon Toast Latte!!
Best place to visit in the mall, you won’t regret going there :)
Vegetarian options: They have a couple vegetarian options for sandwiches, which is nice!
I’ve always loved coming to this location—it’s been my go-to for the past 10 years. Now that I live in Pickering, I make sure to stop by whenever I'm downtown. My all-time favorite is the Vanilla Bean Latte, and I like to customize it. I just let them know my preferences, and voila—cravings satisfied! I’ve tried other Second Cup locations, but unfortunately, it's hit or miss, especially when I’m paying over $6 for a drink (though I still LOVE Second Cup, will always be my 1st option). And if you get the chance, be sure to try the carrot walnut loaf for dessert—it's a must-try!

This place has an amazing staff and they are very helpful. We were about to buy sparkling water and they let us know ahead of time before we bought it. They also noticed I requested almond milk in my latte and brought it to my attention that my drink had traces of lactose in it incase I was lactose and tolerant. Parth and Raven are amazingly sweet and have great customer service! Thanks for an amazing experience.

Best coffee place in Downtown Toronto. The staff working there is so polite especially Geoline. There is positive atmosphere and I love going there I literally travel from Etobicoke to Downtown to sit there and grab a drink There are only 5 stars I could give but on a scale of 100 this place is 110
