If I had the chance, I would give 0 stars. Are you guys serious about your coffee quality? My friend and I went there and ordered two lattes. The employees started making the coffee, but she was just playing around. The coffee grinder didn’t have any coffee beans, so the barista used the same batch of coffee for both lattes. There was no fresh coffee. When I tried the coffee, the taste was disgusting. I was drinking hot milk, not a latte. I asked how many espresso shots were in it, and she said three. That’s impossible: this isn't the first time I've had a latte! She offered another shot of espresso, but it wasn’t espresso; it was bland, old coffee. This was a disappointing experience. You are Second Cup; if you're going to charge $8 for a coffee (I don't mind paying for good coffee), you need to make sure it's worth it. You can't serve coffee without using fresh coffee beans!

Multi night hospital stay. Had the white mocha, iced latte, iced vanilla latte, egg n cheese breakfast sandwich and the blue berry muffins. All delicious.Food options were minimal but I mean, it's a hospital. Bagels, sandwiches, English muffins, lots of cake slices, muffins, scones, brownies, cookies, bottled beverages and the usual coffee, espresso drinks, smoothies and tea.
Wheelchair accessibility: It's located in the hospital, doesn't have a door so it's clear to go in and has a wide pathway up to the cash register, there are bottled beverages on a lowish counter that you can grab and the rest is behind a clear partition. Staff were very friendly and can come round the counter if needed.

Got food poisoning. I bought a scone and 2hrs later my stomach hurt and diarrhea. They handle money and then food without washing hands or sanitizing their hands in-between.
Stopped in last Friday evening for a coffee and donut. The service and food was fine as always, the weird thing was the girl had the washrooms closed as she said she was cleaning. Well 15 minutes later and after her being on the front section of the store, I decided when ya gotta go ya gotta go... In future reference, I get ya have to clean but as humans we do have to use the washrooms especially since we are drinking hot coffee.....

Stopped in last Friday evening for a coffee and donut. The service and food was fine as always, the weird thing was the girl had the washrooms closed as she said she was cleaning. Well 15 minutes later and after her being on the front section of the store, I decided when ya gotta go ya gotta go... In future reference, I get ya have to clean but as humans we do have to use the washrooms especially since we are drinking hot coffee.....

had a very negative experience with a barista named “Amandeep”. East Indian girl probably on her 30’s. She was very rude and argumentative with me. I was placing an order and she repeatedly tells me that it’s not available. Meanwhile I am able to see the product. I then paid for my coffee and left. As I was adding the sugar to my drink, I noticed the cream was finished. When I asked her to refill the cream she completely ignored me and was verbally expressing her frustration to her colleague. I have never experienced this type of unprofessionalism at other coffee chains like Tim Hortons, Starbucks or even Timothy’s. I’ve decided that I will no longer purchase from second cup as long as they employ people like Amandeep who treats customers awfully. I can see why other people are also complaining about her attitude.
