They say it's open on Sunday , but it's not , wasted my time
Ate here last year. Loved it so much. It’s like rainforest cafe but for adults. Gave me major nostalgia. Only complaint was the flower in the drink I ordered that i was told was “edible”, I think made me puke in the morning. The tacos where amazing. Loved it. Amazing decor and art.

I love coming here for the oysters but the rest of the food is incredible! One of those gems in Toronto where it’s not too busy but everything about it is amazing.

The interior is very different from any restaurants i have been to. It has a jungle/tropical type look. I was skeptical of the food based on the Google reviews, but we enjoyed it very much. The oysters, The calamari, tacos, ceviche and the Thai Paella was really good. We will be back to try the other items on the menu! The only downside so far is the bathrooms are so tiny there is no space between you and the door.

Great food and service and amazing deals at happy hour. We’re going to come back and do the drink tower too. Tacos were lovely.
Vegetarian options: Great plant based tacos which I appreciated!

We had dinner and there was the oysters special. We paid $110 for the oysters + 2 plates and a dessert.
The place is nice and the food was good.

DO NOT EAT FOOD HERE!! THE CHICKEN AND BEEF WERE BOTH NOT COOKED! I got the chicken skewers and my mom got the beef skewers. We couldn’t see very well because of the black light and I thought it was just fatty. Not only was it fatty but it also wasn’t cooked!! I shined a light on it and it was raw and pink.
The server barely checked on us. I wouldn’t go back.

Hostess never sat us until we waved her down. Overpriced food. Orders came in slowly, sent in random timing, server never checked on us. Bills came in messed up.
Cool ambiance but the dining experience messed everything up.
Go somewhere else.

Salva Toronto was a bit different from the restaurants I typically visit, but it was my friend’s birthday and her choice. The place was beautiful; we were both captivated by the rainforest ambiance of the restaurant. However, the menu had few selections that appealed to my friend, as many dishes contained oyster sauce or shellfish, and she is allergic to seafood. Overall, it was a great experience, but I wouldn’t return.

Restaurantji Recommends
This place shares same security staff with rendezviews, yesterday there was an incident where the staff yelled at me and pushed me for no meaningful reason. He then followed me to the washroom and heard me complain about the staff, he took it personally and got two other guys to grab me using force to take me out of the premises as if I was a menace or a criminal. Very embarrassing and disappointing scene, and this was in front of many people who were having dinner, they all looked shocked and confused. The scene probably ruined their night as well as mine.
I tried to apologize to the staff if I misbehaved and tried to reach to an agreement but they kept being very rude and unpolite.
I would never recommend going to any of the venues around this area. Security staff needs to be better handling people and should try to avoid conflict instead of being the cause of it.

the atmosphere is really neat and it’s a cute place. it was my first time there. service was decent. nothing over the top. we came for buck a shuck and I was not impressed. I’m not sure if this place pre-shucks their oysters but some of them looked dry and questionable. they all had pieces of shell in them. I’m sure they were fine, however I didn’t eat a few of them and i ALWAYS finish my oysters. My friend also said her beer was very watery as well. I would maybe go back to try their other food but definitely not again for buck a shuck. there are many other better options for buck a shuck.
