I love getting Indian food takeout from here. The chicken biryani is so good, large size comes with 2 pieces of chicken. Their food choices are not as spicy as other Indian places in GTA, so its great for non Indian palette. They always have boneless butter chicken, boned curry chicken, and a very spicy boned chicken dish, plus 3 different vegetable dishes daily, in addition to lentil & chickpeas. I always buy tubs of food (they have small or large size) when I am in that mall. I find the lady always very pleasant, and don’t understand about the negative reviews.

I have really liked this place in the past, but now their prices are gouging. I called to order puri and they said 1 will be $3.50. I told the lady that I was asking for puri not paratha. She was extremely rude and hung up the phone. Anyways I got puri from Govardan Thal 2 for $1

I keeping going to Shahi Rasoi because the food is that good! The workers are nice and kind people. Navila served me today and she was kind and friendly, just like my experience with past workers. She explained the different types of food they offer and informed me they have another location as well. Thank you Shahi Rosi for serving delicious food at affordable prices!

“This place is in the corner of the East York Mall food court. It is really tucked away. You will need to go around the entire central part where all the kitchens are located to find it. The food is super tasty, the portions are huge, and the prices are great. Only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it was a bit too oily.”

I’ve been going here with my grandma for about 10 years and the food always delivers. I’ve had almost everything on the menu. I love the chilly chicken, pakoras and bhel puri. Cannot recommend this place enough

This is by far the best Indian food and only place I eat! I have had their salmon, chicken biriyani, tandoori, butter chicken, chicken samosas and more. Generous servings, good prices and GREAT flavors!

He recently asked me for a favor and I needed to go to his condo to help out. He lives in East York, 5 minutes away from your spot. I agreed to go to his home but asked him to pick me up some food from your spot for my services, lol!!

He also purchased a small chicken biriyani for me to take home for my daughter. She didn't get that! That was for me too, lol! What people don't know won't hurt them, lol!

This restaurant is my lifeline. I can always count on it whenever I need food and I have never gone hungry because of this restaurant. The food is delicious and very fresh and tasty. I would recommend everyone to try it (especially the chicken samosas, the pakoras, Chicken biryani and everything else they make. It is always hot and fresh.

Dahi puri is very good must you can try food was also good
