I had it two days in a row — how did I just find out about this place now? The sashimi goes perfectly with sake. Totally recommend!

I just tried this sushi place for the first time and it completely blew me away. Everything was super fresh, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully presented. The rolls and nigiri tasted amazing! I can really tell they care about quality. Definitely my new go-to spot for sushi in the neighborhood. Highly recommend!

Good food and service but I had an incident with buying a drink. One person from our group had a valid international driver license but manager didn’t want to accept it as a valid form of age verification. The person in the group is 30 years old. The manager didn’t even come out to talk to us and pretended to be “busy”. Not bringing my international friends here anymore.

Lunch or Dinner and Japanese food is what you’re craving? You must check out ShiBui at 600 Mount Pleasant Road. Not only was all the Food delicious but the service and the outdoor patio was just what we were looking for. Thank you ShiBui Japanese Eatery for hosting my Family luncheon this past Friday. Everyone who attended raved about your delicious Sushi and Sashimi, we were all so very impressed. It was so nice that you were able to provide an assortment of vegetarian sushi options as well. Those who didn’t eat seafood were so appreciative! Thank you Ami for helping me organize this, to all your Chefs for making us such a delicious luncheon and to all your staff who were all so helpful and kind! Your Restaurant is a real Gem and I’m so lucky to have found you!

Incredible sushi, very fresh fish thoughtfully arranged and garnished. Service was prompt and friendly despite having no reservation, and it was fun to sit at the bar and watch the chef! Prices were reasonable as well, we had an excellent dining experience :)

What an amazing meal. The sashimi, nigiri and maki combo was well priced yet top quality fish. Great atmosphere, nice list of saki and Japanese beers. All around an amazing place to eat with friendly staff and great music.

I’ve been there more than 10 times now, it’s probably my fave sushi place in Toronto. They put lot’s of fish in their maki, always fresh, no complaints! You MUST check it out!
