It was a great place, good food good atmosphere. The only thing was that the music was a bit too loud. We have to kinda scream to each other to talk and it was hard to hear the server at times. Could’ve been cause there was a live bad but they could’ve just lowered the volume on the mixer a little bit. Other that 4.5/5

Bouncer completely touched my friend up, she completely crossed the line and had pushed the boundary when checking a potential customer. My friend felt that lines were crossed especially that my other friends did not get the same treatment. Silent H was our go to spot but the treatment they received should be ground for termination.

Disgusting behaviour from the staff they were super unprofessional and made me and my guests feel uncomfortable, used to be a go to spot for us but now we definitely will consider because how they made us feel. Wish we got her name but she should be terminated
Frequent in the King West scene—and I can say Silent H is by far my favorite resto/bar.
First of all, the food is insanely good. All of it 🌮🥩🫓 (you have to order the ribsteak asada—I promise you— this alone will make you come back from the cravings. The drinks 🍹🍸🥃 are 10/10. If you like BarChef and Prequel, then you have to try their special cocktail list paired with amazing Mexican food.
Is your man brave? Dare your date to try their 🦂 cocktail!
If you’re in for a night of dancing 🪩 they have a speakeasy exclusive club “aitch” underground with cool DJs and booths—no phone cams allowed esp if there are VIP guests or celebrities visiting the city. Don’t tell anyone i told ya— but sources say this is where they are 🤫
Roman and Gustavo—thank you so much for an amazing night and for celebrating & preparing such a special surprise birthday din for my date visiting from out of town. The “piñata 🎂 with a hammer” is so darn cute! I want one for my bday! Haha.
You guys are the best! 🫶🏼🫶🏼 There is nothing silent about how awesome the food, service, and vibe are at this resto. If you want the BEST King West experience, this is the place 📍

Went to Silent H last week and honestly it might be my new favorite spot in the city. We ordered the betabeles quemados y ponche to start, the veggie empanadas, the pollo al pastor, and the pescado en crema de chile.
Every single dish was so well seasoned and clearly made with real care and attention. The pollo al pastor with the grilled pineapple was a standout and the pescado was rich and flavorful without being heavy. Even the veggie empanadas were fantastic, which says a lot because I usually skip past veggie options at Mexican restaurants.
What really stood out was the staff. Our servers were so genuinely nice and attentive without being overbearing. You could tell they actually wanted us to have a good time, not just going through the motions. They walked us through the dishes and had real enthusiasm about the food, which made the whole experience feel more personal.
The cocktails were on another level. We had the Oaxaca's Order, Piña Polanco, Poblano and Peach, and Deserted in Durango, and every single one was great. Not a miss in the bunch. We liked them so much we ended up hanging out at the bar after dinner doing shots with the bartender, who was super friendly and easy to talk to.
And whatever you do, get El Favorito de Papá for dessert. The pear bread with the walnut crumble and salted caramel is unreal. When you learn the story behind it, that it was the chef's father's favorite dish made by his aunt before he passed, it hits different. But even without the backstory it would still be one of the best desserts I've had in Toronto.

I really enjoyed Silent H. Service was first rate and the food was innovative and delicious. Might be the best Mexican food I've had outside of Mexico.
Having read really positive reviews and looking at the menu, I was extremely excited to try this restaurant. It started with a 27 dollar spicy Paloma that tasted like it was half water. I could barely taste tequila or grapefruit and the only thing spicy about it was a jalapeño floating on top. I've had better chips and guac at every Mexican restaurant I've ever been to and it was 24 dollars. Next was the tuna tostadas, which in fairness were absolutely incredible and what I thought the whole experience was going to be like. The red/green sauce the empanadas were sat in was really good, but the empanadas themselves just tasted like ground beef. They were fine. And then I had the cheese crusted rib eye tacos with more cheese than steak. And the cheese was incredible, but so overpowering it's all you tasted. No sear or flavour on the steak. This plate was three little street tacos for almost 50 bucks! A few weeks ago I had life changing steak frites at Parquet for the same price. (if you're looking for a place to go, go there!) Nothing was outright bad, and our server was great. Music was at a nice volume and the vibes were alright. But there is nothing that comes out on those plates that justifies the price (except maybe the tuna tostados).
Beautiful dishes and so much heart and story behind each one of them. We had a great time here. Also this sticky toffee pudding dessert was among one of the best in the city.

Food was OK for its price - definitely can get better Mexican food elsewhere that has lower price tag than Silent H. Cocktails are way overpriced for what they were - would not get cocktails here again. Atmosphere was good and service was great. Would not go back here to eat though. The best dish we had was the walnut bread dessert thing.

This place was awesome, me and my girlfriend came and it’s definitely getting a revisit sometime this year! the food was unreal and the ambience was great, music, bar, dim lighting it all was great. I got the pleasure of meeting the chef and he was really nice and open to talk which was amazing. As well as cheap parking right across the street which was really nice considering the area! 5/5 would definitely recommend to anyone i know

Food was fantastic but service was light and had the feeling we were forgotten - had to repeatedly ask for stuff and waited too long for the bill.
Great atmosphere and kind staff, Sheila, our server, was awesome! We were going for a drink and ended up staying for more food because everything was was so fantastic
