I ordered the oxtail spent a good amount but for any who knows that is already expensive. Was disappointed and I feel the lack of flavor and cooking down of the meat wasnt there like how I thin they want it because the demographic where they are located probably trying to make it ok for the area. The atmosphere was inviting and no over done and very pleasant staff. I have hope in this place 🙏

Ordered curried goat and husband had the jerk chicken. The jerk was so spicy you couldn’t really enjoy the food. The goat was just ok, nothing special. May give this another try someday but with all the other options it may be a while.

We've ordered the curry goat with rice a few times as well as the roti. The food has always been delicious and the portions more than enough.

Simone’s dishes are incredibly flavourful. We eat here often and also use them for catered family gatherings. Never disappointed!
Amazing food! Staff was really welcoming and made excellent recommendations. Will be back for sure.
Very tasty Caribbean dishes. The kids loved the dumplings and shrimp curry. Jerk chicken rivals anywhere in the city. Great value. Will return.

Simone’s Caribbean Restaurant — Authentic Flavours with a Homestyle Touch
Simone’s Caribbean Restaurant is one of those places that immediately feels like home the moment you walk in. The aroma alone tells you you’re in for something special — the kind of slow-cooked, deeply seasoned food that brings you straight back to the islands.
What I love most about Simone’s is the authenticity. You can taste the care and tradition in every dish — from the jerk chicken with its smoky spice to the perfectly stewed oxtail that falls right off the bone. The rice and peas are always fluffy and flavourful, and the plantains have that perfect golden crisp around the edges.
The portions are generous, the prices are fair, and the food never feels rushed. It’s true home cooking — the kind that comforts you from the first bite. My only small critique is that the wait times can stretch a bit during busy hours, but honestly, that’s usually the sign of a kitchen doing things right.
If you’re craving real Caribbean food done with love, Simone’s delivers every time. It’s one of Toronto’s hidden gems, and easily earns a solid 4 stars from me.

Food was fantastic before covid...fast forward 5 years later, disappointed..very salty, goat & oxtail was also disappointing, one girl who brought out the food looked like she had the world on her head, smile for God's sake. First time since covid & last time.

We loved the soup. The Savior's soup . Overall, I thought it was a good service, decent portions and fair price. Will come back next time. I want to order the oxtail. Dinner for $40-50.Quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Street parking.
Dined in Simone's last night. Ordered the oxtail and jerk chicken mains. They were very tasty and I'm looking forward to coming back for more!

I ordered through doordash and let me tell you their jerk chicken is sooooooooooooooooo good. I usually order from Chubbys when I want Jamaican but I will order from here now. The oxtail is not as good as I hoped. The sauce is a little sweeter for my liking but thats just personal preference.

My MIL ordered dinner for me. Ordered the stew peas... wasn't the best. Super stingy on the meat got a totoal of 4 pieces of meat.. lacking flavor.. ordered bbq for my kid which wasn't bad. The coleslaw was good too.

They served the largest portion of ackee & saltfish, that I have ever witnessed in a 🇯🇲 Jamaican restaurant, but it was reasonably priced, and oh so tasty.
My only disappointment was that I was unaware of Simone’s delectable delights last year, when I was a full-time student at nearby Centennial College.
