I ordered a 6 week package, and received VERY raw chicken in my first delivery. These meals were meant to make our life easier but are causing more stress since we refuse to give this food to our 1 year old baby and 2 year old toddler after almost serving them raw meat.
We are not at all comfortable continuing this meal service after receiving raw chicken, but the company refuses to let us cancel for a refund on the remaining meals. Very frustrating experience.

Tried it for 2 orders. Food is hit or miss. Some are very salty and some are a bit bland. The last straw was a chicken breast dish as it came raw in the middle of one of the thicker pieces.
I wanted to like it, but at this price point and poor quality control, I can’t justify ordering more.
Also the meals come packed, but unsealed. So one of my meals came slightly open. Also there is a single dry ice pack in the entire box, so it won’t keep your food chilled if it gets delivered while you’re not home.
I liked the concept, but I think there are better services out there. Needless to say, I switched.

I gave these guys a try and the first order was plain perfection! I just needed to add a hint of salt and pepper to taste. From steak, to salmon, to crispy pork belly (WhhhhuuutTT) Yeah, pork belly! I was bragging to everyone and happy.
Sadl it was just a tease....WEEK TWO AND THREE! I UPGRADED from $200/w to $299 and I RECEIVED CHICKEN BREAST AND WHITE FISH for all meals with gross sides with the cheapest vegetables, zero creatiity or taste. TWO PROTEINS REPEATED! The meals started to go bad on day 2-3 as if it's been left out for too long or not kept at proper temperature.
I would expect the same type of variety for future weeks as week 1. I specified in week 3's order form that I'd like the same as week 1 and it was ignored.
I didn't receive any of the snacks or bonus items I paid for. Clearly I was frustrated having it happen two weeks in a row so I sent a disgruntgled email and this was the OWNER'S reponse....
"To address the doubled up meals, again, nothing was indicated on that invoice to not provide doubled up meals.
And as for meals being spoiled, typically cooked meals will only last 2-4 days depending on the dish and depending on the temperature set on your fridge. Please freeze any meals that you expect to eat at a later time.
We normally have a policy in place for customers to give in-store credit or even free meals which we would have gladly offered upon normal circumstances. However, we do not condone threats to our business and do not appreciate or respect unprofessional behaviour."
I couldn't do chargeback with my CC because it's an item quality issues and i threw out the list of items that came in the box. The refused to provide it to me via email.
They have no credited me or offer any form of compensation. I lost $600 and I still had to order meals via uber! for the two weeks.
I specifically asked for similar items as my first order and it was BLATANTLY IGNORED!
I didn't even get my whole order half the items were missing.

I really enjoyed my meals with Sixteenoz. I wasn’t sure what to expect with asking for pescatarian and gluten free meals but there was still so much variety! And they had more veggies that just cauliflower and broccoli which was really refreshing!I also feel like they give more protein than other meals because I was really full! I’d be curious to get the macro breakdown.I’ve tried a lot of meal preps in the GTA and this is now one of my favourites! Curious to see what their plant based meals are like and their snacks!Wish their meat was halal because I’d be all over that too!
