The truffle mushroom ravioli was amazing. Sam, the chef, was friendly. The two lovely servers were also extremely very friendly and helpful. The passion fruit martini was also delicious and I appreciated the recommendation. I would recommend this location for private events. They do it right.

Went on a very quiet, rainy Wednesday night. Not a bad place, with a warm and cozy environment. The server was nice and attentive. The pasta dishes were decent and the beer was excellent. The pizza was so-so....I would advise the kitchen staff to work on developing a more traditional, Italian pizza style. Overall, a good experience.

Recently we held a 90th Birthday celebration at Slates and it was a huge success. From the planning stages right up to party day. From the atmosphere to the service and the outstanding food (as always) everyone had a wonderful time. Can’t thank Sam, Sanaz and Elena enough for a fantastic experience! Definitely would recommend for any event.
Food is good, steak was not so soft but it was okay. Appetizer was so good !!!

The steak frites came with hair on the fries🤢. It was very visible too, halfway on the plate. The server was quick to remove the plate and promised to prepare a new one. I ate my pasta because I didn't want it to get cold, while my partner sat idly waiting for his replacement steak frites. It took at least 10 minutes and the server brought the same piece of steak & fresh fries. This is so ridiculous, as the server should've offered my partner a drink or salad or bread, instead of leaving him hungry. When the bill came, there was no discount or compensation for anything! Don't spend your $$$ on this overpriced restaurant with questionable hygiene. There was even a couple of hairs stuck on our table in the enclosed patio area. Poor customer service all around 👎🏼

Waited 90 minutes for food. Waiter forgot to place order? We were very understanding but gave $11.20 discount !!!- not even the cost of a glass of wine - insulting! Very loud and cold as we were sitting near open window and had to wait a long for food.
Great experience here! We reached out same day with a very last minute request for a large group and they were able to accommodate us same day and even extend their hours for us. Everyone enjoyed their food and drinks and love the atmosphere, cute decor!

A little late posting this review but was there in January and ordered pasta. I asked for Parmesan on top and they said they charge for it !! I have never been charged for parmesan in my life. I’d never go back. If a place is too cheap to give you Parmesan - what else are they skimping on? FYI we had two meals, appetizers and alcoholic drinks - it’s not like we weren’t spending money. Bad business decision
