Edit: I spoke to a staff member who told me I would be refunded but wasn’t because Uber said there was no problem, although there was.
If there is problem dealing with Uber, then maybe don’t use them and hire your own driver, as other restaurants have done.
I understand you have no control over what they do, but you are using therm to deliver, thus I would suggest you take this issue up with them

I've been ordering from Slayer Burger consistently, and the quality is always great—fresh and good portion sizes. I ordered using Uber with a returnable container, and the burger was tasty and delicious. Even though it’s a smash patty, it’s still very juicy. I’ll definitely recommend Slayer Burger!

We walked in early Saturday around 11:30am. 4 adults 2 kids. All the burgers and fries (and rings) came out freshly cooked. Super delicious burger, tasty but not over-salted. Not greasy like some other chains. I had a Guarana too! We absolutely loved the food here, and will definitely try to come back or order delivery. I am not affiliated with this restaurant. P.S. Great water pressure in washroom faucet, easily washed hands afterwards.

I accidentally ordered two sandwiches and canceled it immediately, within seconds, but Uber Eats still charged me almost the full price for the trouble I caused the restaurant, which didn’t seem fair. I spoke with the support team, and they advised me to call the restaurant, explain the situation, and go pick up the order. I did, but the restaurant told me they had already given my order to someone else and that I’d have to pay again. It was a really bad experience, and I feel terrible. I’ll never order from this restaurant again
Ordered a Slayer burger via Uber Eats. I must say this is the most abysmal burger I have had in years. Plywood-like beef patties, tasteless salty nonsense.

Ordered the Ripper, Saturday special may have been the mistake. Maybe better when not on special? Ordered 3 and 1 order of crinkle fries. The patties were burnt and disappointing. Fries were fine.

One thing that always made me frustrated is that Canada simply does not have a good burger game (sorry my fellow Canadians) especially if you compare it with places such as Brazil and the US. And Slayer burger is the very first burger place that I went to in all of Canada (and I have been from coast to coast) to nail every single detail perfectly: The cut choices for the meat, the point of the burger, sauce, bum, fries, seasoning, everything in place for a great burger. Slayer burger sets a new bar on how things should be done ??. It is my go to place now. Amazing!
