The pizza is very good but unfortunately the service is not. We definitely won’t be going back.

Arrived 2 hours after placing order. Pizza was freezing and tasted like cardboard. X2 pizzas and x2 fries cost $78 - not worth it.

One of my top choices for a post-meal, pre-dessert snack is a slice of pizza. The paper-thin New York slice topped with bolognese is a combination of a crispy crust with an explosion of umami flavours.
✨ This one felt like Sunday lunch at nonna’s — only cooler, with better music, and a wood-fired oven humming in the background.
SlowSouth Pizza doesn’t just serve food, it serves memory. There’s something unmistakably soulful about this place. From the warm lighting to the smell of dough crisping in the oven, it’s like being wrapped in the kind of comfort only Southern Italy (and maybe your grandmother) knows how to give.
Let’s start with that Spektacular Panini. Pressed to golden perfection, it was smoky, creamy, and just the right amount of bite from the arugula. The smoked prosciutto gave it that old-world depth, while the burrata melted into every warm crevice of the bread. One of those sandwiches that makes you close your eyes after the first bite.
Then came the star of the show: the Pistachio Pizza. Honestly? A revelation. The pistachio pesto was nutty and lush, the fior di latte was delicate and fresh, and the mortadella. Oh, the mortadella added this velvety richness that paired so perfectly with the drizzle of honey. It was sweet, savoury, and beautifully balanced, like if your nonna had a TikTok and knew how to go viral.
The vibe? Cozy but cool. The food? Traditional roots with modern magic. You can tell there’s care in every corner of this place — from the ingredients to the people working behind the counter. I’ll definitely be coming back for more, and so should you! Warmly recommended!

Decent pizza spot. Fresh ingredients however the flavours are light and mellow —doesn’t particularly stand out.
The pizza is somewhere between a Neapolitan and New York. Thin, foldable, with a bit of chew. The style may not be for everyone, but if you’re into a thinner, delicate crust then it might be worth a try
If you’re looking for great pizza, look no further than Slow South Pizza. Their thin-crust pizzas are made with a delicious selection of fresh ingredients, and you can taste the quality in every bite. I’ve never been disappointed – the ingredients are always fresh, and the flavours are consistently balanced.
They also have a good selection of Italian sides, especially their homemade arancini, which are a must-try. Giuseppe provides excellent service and treats the ingredients with real respect, which shows in the final product.
The space has been recently upgraded with more indoor seating while keeping a homey, welcoming vibe that makes you feel comfortable whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch or sitting down for a relaxed dinner.
Ottima pizzeria. Decisamente da provare.

Been getting the slices and arancino margherita balls and they are both spectacular. Great price point as well. Love that they’re in this neighborhood. Highly recommend

I ate there during the festival on Dandas St. oh surprise, when I tried to use the bathroom, they wouldn't let me. They said it wasn't in service! Hahaha, pathetic! A place where you go to eat and they won't let you use the bathroom is incredible! Regarding the pizzas, nothing special, 7/10. But even if they were the best, the poor service makes you not want to go back.
