Ok bbq place in Toronto downtown. Sampler platter was a good choice. I do feel the portion sizes should be larger given the $100 price tag (see photos). The brisket was my personal favourite.
The taste is just a passable Texas barbecue. It's not that it doesn't taste good, but it doesn't seem to have any special charm unique to this restaurant. I felt like the portions were a bit small, but I was full after eating them. All the types of fries were in good condition as they were crispy and didn't smell like oil.
We got the Thanksgiving platter for 2, and it was delicious. The cranberry butter to spread on the biscuits was so tasty. The ribs were perfect with a really nice BBQ on the side to brush as you prefer. Brownie dessert warm and so chocolatey. I would totally recommend this place, will come back for sure to try other plates.
