Great patio on Baldwin street. Good quality of beer on tap and the price is right for your cinq a sept. The food was satisfying and the bbq sauce was nice. Friendly staff and clean bathroom.

Best BBQ I've had in the city but the service is disorganized asH.

Been here multiple times but every time the staff have no system or management. Everyone is doing something and nothing at the same time.

Other than that this place is still 5 stars but pray you're not in a hurry LOL

Visited SmoQue N' Bones on Baldwin Street recently and unfortunately had a poor experience with the service. After being seated, we waited 15–20 minutes without being acknowledged—no water, no drink orders—until one of my sisters had to wave down a staff member just to get someone’s attention.

When our server finally arrived, she seemed rushed and unsure about the menu when we asked for clarification on certain items. It took multiple reminders just to get one of our drinks brought out, and we were only checked on once during the entire meal.

At the end, we asked for the bill and takeout containers, and it took over 30 minutes for everything to be brought to the table. The food itself was good, but the slow, inattentive service made it hard to enjoy the experience.

Hoping this was just an off day, very disappointing as last time I ate here with my Husband two years ago, we had an amazing experience. It seems that the service has declined unfortunately.

Rolisha was amazing. Another server we asked for pepper but have us salt and pepper and we ruined the mac and cheese but she was so sweet and helped us get a good order. We loved it mac and cheese and brussel sprouts were the best I've ever had. Thank you SmoQue for a great visit.

Patio was very nice. Drinks were good but we were told it would be three dollars off the listed price on the menu for happy hour, we explicitly asked, but did not get the discount. So $17 vs $14 for cocktails. BBQ was hit and miss. Turkey and brisket was dry with no smoke ring nor bark, but had smoke taste. Ribs were good with sauce on the side so you could add it yourself. Pulled pork taco was good. Waffle sweet potatoes fries are were well liked. Macaroni was better than average.

People I was with had gone before and said meat was better last time and the pictures looked better. Not sure I would give the restaurant another chance. 3.5/5

Sitting here for an hour waiting for any food to be brought to the table. Not even 4 of the starters I ordered... I feel like they forgot my order.

Kid-friendliness: Nothing on menu for kids

Wheelchair accessibility: None at all ....

I went yesterday evening with my family for my graduation. The ambiance was beautiful with warm lights and plants everywhere. Our server, Javier, was very attentive and funny! And of course, the food was excellent — even today, our leftovers were flavourful. Ordered 3x brisket mac & cheese, 1/2lb brisket, pulled pork mac & cheese, sliders, tacos, buttermilk onion rings, shoestring fries and potato salad.
All of the food was amazing, but my family raved over the brisket mac & cheese and the buttermilk rings. Tender, melt-in-the-mouth high quality meat. So good.
Will definitely come again.

Super recommended!! Javier took great care of us, super close and friendly, helping us with the menu. Furthermore, everything we ordered was delicious, from the meat to the sauces. Chicken wings and pork ribs with BBQ sauce top. In addition to the accompaniment, the waffle fries are also delicious. If you are in Canada, it is a 100% mandatory stop.
