Honest and friendly service. They also offer home delivery over $100. The products are fresh and there is everything you are looking for. Number 10.
Authentic turkish shop with an exceptional hospitality, there is also a delivery option over $100. Very much recommended.
It's a small store, full of delicious items! We find all sorts of gems every time we shop here. Great snacks, cheese, bagels, pickles. Very lovely owners too.
So happy this Turkish grocery store is nearby. I found everything I needed for a Turkish recipe.
I saw that they do not care when there is a problem with the product they sell.
Karaca brand teapot that I bought for 65 CAD
He got mad in a very short time. I brought it back, they did not accept it, they said they would give me a 10% discount, they tried to sell me a new product, they do not stand behind the products they sell, I will not buy from this company again, I use the teapot every 6 months, I chose the Delinli and Karaca brand because it is a good brand, but I regret it.
Great communication, good selection of products, same day delivery and a personal message included in package. I couldn't be happier and I will definitely order again. Thank you so much!
I really wouldn't want to write this comment, but I'm writing because they're going to make the mistake of ordering online like me. Although I have ordered many times before, they used to call me because the most products are not in stock and say that we can replace it with another product. This was not a problem for me, but even though I lived in the gta area in my last order, they said that the order will be distributed in a short time, and they waited for a week and said that the products are still not on distribution. And the downside is that if I didn't call them, they probably wouldn't even give me an explanation. When I asked me why they didn't let me know this, they said my colleague didn't leave a note and they said we can return your order if you want (without any help). In other words, I waited for a week and then such an attitude was displayed.
Small delicatessens are among the greatest culinary finds, like diamonds in the rough. "Smyrna - Laz Bakkal" is one of these diamonds. An unassuming shop on Pape north of the Danforth, I was greeted with a smile and enjoyed foraging around the diverse collection of tahini, olives, freekeh bread, tomato paste, nut snacks and other items of Turkish provenance. As with most places, I like to practice different languages, and the cashier generously obliged as I employed whatever Turkish language skills I had accumulated from friends or from the Duolingo phone app.
As is the case everywhere, the human connection outweighs the actual thing(s) being purchased. The visit to "Smyrna - Laz Bakkal" was lots of fun, not only for the delicious products, but for the warmth of the staff. When I am out of tomato paste, I'll be back. Teşekkür ederim, ve iyi akşamlar!
Went to visit. Because it's close by.
They sold me feta gone bad and the chocolate was discoloured. Not returning.
I have been searching for a shop that sells Zeytin Ezmesi (olive paste) in the east end for a long time until I stumbled upon references online to a great Turkish store near Danforth & Pape. The store is small but quite tidy and has plenty of dry goods, canned goods, as well as frozen foods. The lady behind the counter is friendly and helpful, and prices are reasonable with a great selection of goods. My only suggestion to the store owner is have some type of branding on the windows telling passersby what they're selling, because I would have walked past it many times without every knowing it's a specialty store that sells Turkish & Middle Eastern food. By the way, the simit is fantastic. I was unsure how the frozen semi-baked simit will be, but after baking it the air fryer for 5 minutes, it had the fresh baked texture and taste, the outside with the sesame seeds was somewhat firm and crunchy (just how I like it) and the inside was soft and tasty, dipped in Labne with Zeytin, a delicious meal. Highly recommended.. Thanks for the great service. I will be back!

I recommend you to check your receipt after payment. I drove for two hours and it was too late to return when I noticed on the road that a product I did not buy today had been shipped. I would like to take it from the bottom, thinking that it might be accidental, but it's not the first time it's happened to me.
Not good. Sending you missing items and wrong items. The stock information on their website is not up to date; claiming the items were out of stock. Sending you just 1/3 of the same item you ordered.
Good products mostly originated from Turkey
Very good Turkish store.
Amazing Turkish products and snacks! You gotta visit for the fun variety and quality of the selection. Tons of things I’ve never tried before and owner was very helpful with my picks. Great frozen baklavas directly from Turkey
