A really fantastic experience, loads of board games to choose from, and a really surprising selection of food and drinks all of great quality. The staff experience varied from slightly obtuse and a bit fumbled to absolutely exemplary, leaning more toward the latter. The sense I got was some staff were perhaps still learning or just having an off day, but most of the people that worked at our table were excellent and made up for the stumbles of those few of their peers not playing their A game.
Absolutely will go back next time I'm in Toronto if at all possible.

Went for a friend's birthday and I was pretty disappointed with how we were treated. We didn't get any service for the first hour of our stay and barely saw our server afterwards for the unlimited drinks. Instead, we had to order them at a counter. Some our drinks were watered down too (the matcha latte was grainy and brown). They also tried to charge us gratuity for a group smaller than 6. I wanted to enjoy it but I probably won't be going back.

This is more like a sit-down restaurant vibe than board games café vibe. It was quite busy on a Sunday and they were understaffed with only like 2-3 servers and one bartender for the entire floor.
It took like 30 minutes for our drinks to arrive as part of the unlimited drinks game admission deal and another 30 min to get our server’s attention to order something else and then they completely forgot when we asked for the bill. It is totally not their fault but I feel like management needs to hire or staff more people on weekends.
It was quite disappointing for my first experience at Snakes & Lattes although their board game selection was quite good and categorized.

I don’t went here and got some game recs from a staff member. The next day I spent 100+ on buying the recommended board games for myself. Good is great and the staff super healthful and kind. The seating can be slightly uncomfortable at times but no an issue if you are into your board games. Would love to see community events where I can meet other board games fans!
