A real surprise in the west of the city, finding these oysters, putting them in your mouth just a few hours after they came out of the water, simply wonderful! Natural and smoked. Thank you for this experience! I was delighted with these fresh flavors!!!

Best place for fish!

I first tried Snappers Fish Market when I grabbed their salmon burger from the grill outside for my lunch break and instantly fell in love with their sauce/condiment collection. Stopped by again today and picked up their house made jalapeno relish and it’s absolutely delicious. They’ve got such a great selection of fresh seafood and the friendliest family run vibe. Definitely a go-to spot on Bloor West Village.

Oh my god the owners are absolute gems and the fish is so so good!

One time I bought some oysters to shuck at home and one of them pinched my finger. When I got the rascal to let go my finger kept throbbing like some sort of cartoon. There was a whole song and dance and I think my dog is in love with a mermaid now (??).

Seriously if you like seafood this is the place to buy from. If you are seafood curious they are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. You can’t go wrong with that combination!

The seafood is always high quality and fresh, I've never bought any piece of fish or shellfish from here that wasn't top-notch.
The 2 owners are also by far the sweetest, kindest and most helpful people I have ever interacted with in any store. They constantly go out of their way for me, remembered my name from the second time I walked in and always are so helpful.

Please PLEASE if you live remotely in the neighborhood at all, come here for any of your fish/shellfish purchases, you won't want to shop anywhere else.

The only thing better than the amazing selection of seafood (fresh and frozen) is the genuinely warm and friendly service from the owners. It is always such a pleasure to frequent and support this local business in BWV!

This is an utter gem of the neighbourhood. Fantastic fish, seafood, and products, happy, helpful and knowledgeable staff, and all summer long they run an oyster and seafood bbq out front on the weekends. You should definitely go here. Highly recommended!

Great place to buy fresh fish

Highly recommend Snappers. The owners are absolutely fantastic and will answer any questions you have. So welcoming and friendly. The fish is amazing quality and does not disappoint. But the crab cakes, they are my absolute favourite. An absolute Bloor West gem.
