The food has highs and lows. The crispy tuna rice is a fun bright spin on sushi. The veggies for the entree were a bit bland and the sauces lack brightness or richness. The cocktails use a variety of adventurous ideas but lack the punch of flavor or surprise. It's VERY expensive for what is essentially a Keg with better design. The cocktails are especially egregious. Could be fun for a date if you can handle the eye watering price tag for a pretty good meal.
SOCO is a gem restaurant in the heart of DT.

Perfectly located right across from Rogers Centre, the ambience strikes the perfect balance—casual and relaxed, yet with an upscale touch.
The food was absolutely incredible too. I tried the pan-seared salmon and it was spot on.
