The portions were sizeable, and the price was worth the food you received.

My son and myself went to this place at 6 pm Sunday, we were very cold and ready to drink a warn coffee with a cake, the waiter first asked us how many we are? We said 2 and then he said the kitchen is already closed but Google says it closes at 8 pm. What a rude attitude!!!

Lovely bright place with kind service. Lemon pancakes are awesome.. but ask for only one or 2 as they are too big.

It’s a bit cramped but beautiful. Parking was a challenge around the area. I had Sophie’s breakfast and portion is a tad smaller than most of Toronto’s brunch places. The turkey sausage look unappetizing but surprisingly good. My friend ordered pecan crusted french toast and she devoured it. Tierra’s Sunrise moctail is delicious but pina colada mocktail taste like a very watered down pineapple juice.

Before heading to visit a family member at the hospital, I grabbed lunch here. It was the perfect atmosphere with its relaxing air, pleasant server, and choice of delicious foods. I had the shrimp frittata which was wonderful. They did not skimp on the shrimp at all. It was accompanied by a salad and some fantastic potatoes. I also had a heavenly hot chocolate. Definitely recommended!!Dietary restrictions: I am allergic to nuts and they were very careful.

We had brunch as a family for the first time @Tiarres today and it was good. Would definitely return. The food was yummy and nicely plated. Our waiter was very nice and knew the menu well. Freshly squeezed orange juice was good, give it a try if you go. We had;- Tiarres favourite Pecan cornflake crusted french toast and it was too good. I couldn’t stop eating it.- skillet farmhouse fry, nice flavour and tasted so fresh.- Shrimp frittata, never had anything like this for brunch before. Wasn’t sure if I would like it when ordering but I cleaned my plate.- eggs benny with smoked salmon, yummy and the eggs were made perfectly the way we had asked.

We made a reservation and confirmed it 30 mins prior and when we arrived 10 mins before our chosen time they told us they cancelled it because they thought we would be a "no-show". However we confirmed and they didn't notify us of the cancellation until we arrived.Terrible customer service before we even sat down.My friend was hungry so ended up waiting another 25 minutes (we should've left), and the food was terrible. Bacon was overcooked. Also my cup had a piece of food on it when we sat down.

Pretty good brunch spot. The menu isn't too big but I think you'll have all you need to enjoy your time here. Had the skillet farmhouse fry and omelette of the day (spinach and goat cheese). Very delicious. One thing to note, everything one the plate had flavor. Even the potatos. You will enjoy all of it.Most surprising flavor: The hollandaise sauce. Excellent!

Tiarres Brunch n Cakes is an absolute gem in Toronto! From the moment I stepped in, I was enchanted by the adorable decor and welcoming atmosphere. The high tea experience was a delightful journey of flavors – the finger sandwiches, pastries, and scones were heavenly. The attention to detail here is outstanding, making it a food blogger’s dream come true. The staff is friendly, and the service is top-notch. Tiarres Brunch n Cakes has officially become my go-to spot in Toronto for a foodie adventure. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates cute aesthetics and delicious eats!

This has been a nice neighborhood restaurant as Sophie’s and I loved coming here for 10 years. As it claims not an intimate restaurant anymore….Unfortunately with new owner and staff it has lost its local touch. Too many tables put in and waiting for the food is long. But worst of all is the one particular waiter , M, who has been very arrogant and rude . I will probably not be coming back as long as he or similar servers with stress are around. This is a 10 people restaurant as kitchen is small but putting more tables created caps and unpleasantness combined with this rude server not recommending to anyone anymore. Still using Sophie’s menu as it was successful but mostly we came for the friendly staff and relaxing no hassle hassle ambiance which is all gone. I feel like now I am at any egg restaurant or diner and not personal touch and not welcomed by the staff.

Overall, not a spot I visit again nor mention it to anyone. The pancake were saggy and unpleasant although the look was nice but inside of them was super chewy and plain. The coffee cups were not clean and one could see the residue of the coffees or teas from before. Bottomless coffee, the cup is really big so when one orders by the time you get to the end, the coffee will be cold. Seating was really cramped, no room for any movement and the chairs weren't comfortable either. Our order came out wrong as well. service was hectic and didn't get to us sooner. The only reason for 2star was the Latte which flavor was nice. Having in mind that latte had no art on it. With that price one could have had better food and services.
