Great little Italian spot with excellent food, a nice wine selection- and great value.
Always a great meal and welcoming atmosphere. Love how there is always specials. The lamb rigatoni was so tender and flavourful with a generous portion. Lobster ravioli had lots of lobster in it and the cream sauce wasnt too heavy. Burrata with fresh orange is a nice touch, such a great appetizer! Will come back again for Wine Wednesday- great wine list!

The atmosphere at Sotto Voce is warm and inviting, with its intimate setting and attentive service making it feel like a special occasion every time. It’s a true testament to the restaurant’s dedication to quality ingredients and traditional techniques, making it a must-try for pasta lovers in Toronto. The carbonara is undoubtedly one of the star dishes, but their braised beef rigatoni also deserves a mention for its depth of flavor and comforting richness. Will return for both those dishes, and will always finish my night with their tiramisu. Thank you for such a special and warm night on such a cold evening!

Quite a disappointment. Cool location, and seemed to attract cool patrons. Upon entering and being seated, there were several small flies hovering around our table. Prior to being served I visited the men's washroom, which was appalling. There were hundreds of the same flies filling the bathroom, I think one of them went in my mouth. Keep in mind this was on a frigid day in mid December, not fly season. The entire place was run down. The bathroom was filthy and smelled. Paying closer attention to the dining area, nothing looked cleaned for years. Mirrors and walls were covered in film and filth. The kitchen looked filthy with a giant hole in the ceiling next to the vent hood. Wine selection and prices by the glass were great, and they had sancerre by the glass. Appetizer was decent. Main courses were quite disappointing. I had a special; a prime rib ragu on rigatoni. It tasted nice. The portion was ridiculously small. It had 13 pieces of rigatoni. I finished in 5 bites and went for fast food after dinner. My guest had a spagh bolognese which was also very small and boring. Both dishes arrived so quickly it was almost as though it was pre-prepared and quickly thrown together and served. The server was nice enough, but very brief and to the point. She never asked how our meal was going. I suspect she knew.

bad experience, messed up my bday, never addressed it being my birthday even though it was in the reservation. There were few food options, and the food was mid. The waitress was rude towards my friends, did not comp my friend for her meal even though she barely ate any and received water with dead flies in it. The energy was not great. Mid complimenting the waitress she began actively arguing with the kitchen staff from our table. Very disappointing :(
