Best place to work or study!!!! I’ve been looking for a place to sit with my laptop and make sales calls or answer emails for a long time but hadn’t found somewhere with enough seating, good coffee, free parking, good vibes!!! They’ve got free wifi too. Very friendly people. In one word, this place is AMAZING! I hope it doesn’t get super crowded because of my review ha ha!

Loved the vibe and smell in the shop / cafe and also have to honor the philosophy behind the product especially the way this company sources its raw material. You get what you pay for in life and this is some of the best chocolate I’ve ever tasted. Go there. Do not stop at go. Treat yourself to the best in Toronto.

I recently was lucky enough to be a part of Soul Chocolate's Chocolate Workshop! Our instructor / chocolate maker Adrian, was amazing! He had such in-depth knowledge of the history of chocolate-making and its spread around the world.
We learned about how the chocolate is made starting with the plant, and how the beans are prepared, roasted, shelled using a hands-on approach. We then ground down the nibs to make a chocolatey paste. After this gruelling work we got to see all of the machines that make this process much quicker, more efficient, and at a much higher volume than what we could do by hand.
We played the part of chocolate connoisseurs as well as made our own chocolates - so fun! The whole 2.5hr class flew by as it was fun, informative and tasty! I left with some delicious chocolate and a whole new appreciation for how real chocolate is made. I can not recommend this experience enough!

I ordered an assortment of their chocolate bars online. I was concerned that they might melt during shipping, but Soul Chocolate packed them really well, and they were intact when they arrived.
Each of the bars was very flavorful, in particular the matcha and mocha. I didn't particularly like the Assam tea one, but that might just be me.
It's the perfect choice for a gift. Would definitely recommend it and will try out their store when I'm in the area next.

Chocolate was divine. Had a truffle and took home some bars - the lavender, masala chai, gingerbread, and columbia all were wins. The chocolate is smooth and fine and very distinct with the flavours.
Also tried the mayan hot chocolate, classic hot chocolate and cappuccino. Definite standout was the mayan hot chocolate with a great blend of muted sweetness and lively spice. Finally, got the chocolate cookie which was pretty tasty and nicely chewy.
Space is a split between a chocolate factory and happy hippy seating area. Prices are what prices are these days. Vibe is welcoming and casual. Definitely a place to go back to again and again!

I started visiting on average 3 distinct cafés per weekday before work since the start of the summer and today I got the flat white after tracking down where they've moved since I last visited their Gerrard location years ago. This is by far the best espresso-based (flat white/cortado/cappuccino, etc.) drink I've had this year. That alone deserves 5 stars. Obviously had the best chocolate chip cookie in the city as well and the space itself had a very refreshing vibe, though I didn't stay.

Soul Chocolate is a really cute spot! They have a great range of nondairy options which was important to us. We had a little snafu while we were there and Kyle was quick to remedy it and was super friendly. They also have a really yummy matcha and homemade oat milk!
