Hands down the best dosa in town. Service is good too
Dosa Mahal is a hidden gem for South Indian cuisine! The dosas were absolutely delicious – crispy, flavorful, and perfectly paired with their chutneys and sambar. The service was quick, and the staff were friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even better. The ambiance is cozy and welcoming, perfect for a casual meal. I highly recommend trying their masala dosa and filter coffee – a perfect combination! Will definitely be coming back.

one of my families favourite places to eat. they have gluten free dosas that we get ever time..no matter what the filling is, theyre incredible. we wish we could get fewer containers when we do take out, but they don't seem to be into waste reduction.. we still ask :) the mango lassie is fab, the tea is fab, every dosa is fab. bless this place!
Vegetarian options: its all veg i believe
Dietary restrictions: gluten free!!

We took a masala dosa and a ghee masala dosa. Both the dosas were below average. Given that the place is called ‘dosa mahal’, we had high hopes, but our hopes shattered soon after the first bite.
Even more disappointing was the brown sweet water that they call filter coffee. It was clearly a machine made coffee being advertised as ‘filter coffee’. (Atleast just call it coffee and not filter coffee when you cannot serve one.)
Poor experience overall, and so cannot recommend to anyone.

One of the best and most affordable places for South Indian food in downtown Toronto. Everything we tried was delicious and reminded us of home food. The vada was so crispy and dosas were delicious. All their food is vegetarian! Must try this restaurant for authentic South Indian food

I recently visited **Dosa Mahal** and had an incredible dining experience! I ordered the *Paneer Dosa* with mango, and it was absolutely delicious. The combination of the rich, creamy paneer and the sweet, juicy mango was pure perfection—flavorful, unique, and satisfying!
What I love about this place is their dedication to offering a wide variety of vegan and vegetarian options. Whether you're a vegetarian like me or exploring vegan cuisine, you'll find so many amazing choices here.
The dosa itself was cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with just the right amount of filling. The accompanying chutneys and sambar added a burst of authentic South Indian flavors to every bite.
The staff was friendly, the service was efficient, and the ambiance was welcoming and comfortable.
I will definitely be coming back to try more dishes! If you're looking for a place that serves delicious, authentic Indian food with plenty of vegan and vegetarian options, **Dosa Mahal** is a must-visit. Highly recommend!

The food and service were disappointing, and there’s clearly no value for customers here. A polite and considerate approach is essential, but unfortunately, that was lacking. I hope they work on improving both their food quality and customer service

Had an amazing time at this true gem, serving 100% vegetarian South Indian food with authentic flavors. The vibe here is so cozy and relaxed, it feels like a perfect mix of tradition and comfort.
We started with a warm Hot Chai and Rose Sharbat.
For snacks, we tried crispy Samosas that had the perfect crunch, and a soft Idly/Vada Combo with flavorful sambar. For the main dish, we had a filling Rice Meal that was full of tasty, traditional flavors.
The star of the show was the Pizza Masala Dosa - a crispy dosa with pizza-style masala on top they have spicy and non spicy option in it. It was a unique twist on the classic dosa.
We finished with some delicious Gulab Jamun and creamy Payasam
If you haven’t been to Dosa Mahal, you’re missing out! Definitely recommend it for anyone who loves great South Indian food in a chill atmosphere.

Love their lassi, and paratha was amazing.
