I was very disappointed as the other branch is always full and has a line and they always serve fresh. This branch served the bun from probably a week ago and the mushrooms tasted weird and were put half the normal portion. The place was dirty. For a change I wanted to try this branch but can’t come back and will keep going to the other branch. Was wondering every time I passed by this branch why there was nobody and why they closed at 8 pm so early. I got my answer today.

There was one other person in the whole place. He ordered while I was in line behind him. I had to watch this persons whole order get made before mine was even taken. And instead of starting my order he starts taking the orders of people that walked in as I was ordering. If you want the service to make sense go somewhere else.

The good! Buddy at the counter , who was the only one working that I could tell. Was friendly and fast. The food was decent.
The bad! I stuck to the floor as I walked around. No joke. We commented on that right away. Dirty floors. Then look up above the topping and you will see how dirty it is. Someone needs to get up on a ladder and start wiping everything. The washroom also needs to be cleaned.
Even though the employee was good and the food was OK, we will not go back.

Previous owner ran this particular South St. Burger so much better and took pride. It used to be very clean and the food was so much better. The quality has definitely declined, I guess they are cutting corners. I feel that the new owner(s) don't pride themselves in housekeep (greasy floors) or cleaning their storefront windows or doors spotless. I am very disappointed and will never return. Was once a loyal customer!

Was reading reviews and being regular customer, still went to try if the negative reviews make sense, but was given great service, good quality and as is tasty, fries was made in front of me and was good too. Would recommend this restaurant for sure, do not worry about bad reviews.

Expired black potatoes used. Didn’t notice till after bc it was a poutine. Horrible cramping and diarrhea. Also buns not toasted, cheese not melted on buns or beef patties . Poorly assembled. Didn’t go here for a while due to poor quality, thought we would give them another chance. It was a MISTAKE! Don’t go!

New changes or management really sucks. I came here for over 5 years under previous management/changes and was amazing. But for the last 3 weeks have drastically changed
Went in to this store for lunch and asked for (Regular) Mountain Dew with my order and they served me something orange. They attempted to have me try small cups of (Mountain Dew) but it was just poor quality 7 up. They don’t even know I guess that Mountain Dew is supposed to be Lime Green in colour. That was concerning but not as much as EACH time they tried to accomodate, there was a hair in the cup or in the covered drink. No OVERSIGHT. Happened three times. I rectified the situation and asked for a bottle instead. I have worked flipping burgers in the EnerCare building so quality is paramount. This place was poorly ventilated and dirty. Dust on the back of the screens, stains on the windows and soap dispenser and dirty chairs. They place is small and not hard to upkeep during downtime. There are two guys and they had no one dining surprisingly at noon. But for health and safety do not dine there. Also check your food before you leave as they gave me the wrong burger.

I have always been a fan of South Street on St.Clair West but since this location has switched owners, it’s not as good. The food is not as good, the service is not as good and gluten-free protocol is definitely lacking. I have went in there and it’s been very smoky so much so that I had to eat my car, I’ve waited half an hour for a burger, and tonight I ordered a poutine that came with very few fries and way too much gravy. That’s too bad because the prior owner ran it. It was my favorite place to go.
