Absolutely delicious and my first time trying malatang. I wish the ingredients were properly labelled as I didn't know what I was eating half the time (the bottom row is not labelled) but the nice staff member was able to answer some of my questions.One star off because I was disappointed with the amount of soup. It was so delicious and I was definitely expecting more liquid. I'm not sure if this is normal?

We came in around 10 in the evening. Still big varieties of food to choose from. Really spicy..the dried - mala bang is with thick sesame sauce, which I like to add a little bit black vinegar and tasted soooo good.The mala-tang with soup is super spicy.Having a whole day flights flew from Virginia, this dinner cured all the worn-out..

Maybe not the freshest but otherwise pretty good

Really not good! I wanted to try a new malatang spot so ordered from here and flavor + freshness was not good. Even the tripe in the malatang tasted not clean. Go to one of the other spots nearby.

They have 10% off for cash.

My bowl was around 0.45kg and it cost $15. So if you can stack more than that, you break the even!! (I saw a girl stacked at least 0.8kg so good luck!)

Taste amazing, food was amazing, employees were sweet, seats were very comfortable.

This is not malatang, Tastes like instant ramen noodle base. If youre craving malatang please just go down the street to chinatown. Its actaully terrible. Espcially if youre a uoft student just run away not worth the hefty price tag for some mid food.

I got their “build your own soup bowl” where basically you can choose from a variety of noodles, vegetables, meat and seafood options. You choose your ingredients as many as you want, and pay by the weight of your bowl. It was absolutely divine, everything was cooked to perfection. It tasted like a hotpot minus the mess and effort. In fact, I was even able to bring home my leftovers so if you spend $30-40 on your bowl, you would technically be paying for two meals.
