Wonderful selection of vegetables, noodles, proteins, etc. Little spicy was the perfect level for me (I usually use 1/3 of my buldak sauce). Manager was great, let my friend alter her soup base because it was too spicy for her). Will definitely be coming back!

I visited for their Malatang. I think this place was pretty average -- nothing particularly stood out about this establishment for its food and selection. It's self-serve, as in you select all your toppings in a bowl, and then you pay by weight. I don't think any beef/pork/lamb meat options were available to self-serve though. Regardless, I think the price is reasonable. Definitely make sure to bring enough cash for a small discount, though!

cheap eats final boss. $8.32 after tax for this huge bowl of soup plus i put a good amount of noodles, meat, and veggies. cooked perfectly, thank u my goats. underrated spot for uoft students.

Absolutely delicious and my first time trying malatang. I wish the ingredients were properly labelled as I didn't know what I was eating half the time (the bottom row is not labelled) but the nice staff member was able to answer some of my questions.One star off because I was disappointed with the amount of soup. It was so delicious and I was definitely expecting more liquid. I'm not sure if this is normal?

We came in around 10 in the evening. Still big varieties of food to choose from. Really spicy..the dried - mala bang is with thick sesame sauce, which I like to add a little bit black vinegar and tasted soooo good.The mala-tang with soup is super spicy.Having a whole day flights flew from Virginia, this dinner cured all the worn-out..

Really not good! I wanted to try a new malatang spot so ordered from here and flavor + freshness was not good. Even the tripe in the malatang tasted not clean. Go to one of the other spots nearby.
