Generally go for patio lunch visits. Today had a lovely time as always. Great food, kind & knowledgeable service (from the bartender) and enjoyed the Sunday specials. 10/10 recommend for a non-pretentious Queen West experience that is somehow more affordable than other places in the neighborhood.

The heart of this place lies in the nostalgia of the back room. Squirly’s has been a staple in the queen west neighbourhood and I could be happier that it’s not going anywhere.
What was once a hangout for young Gen exers to drink, eating was a convenient after thought, now seems to have put a lot of love and attention to serving delicious quality food. If you’re a foodie you will love it - I promise. Lots of options. And there is nothing I wouldn’t order again. And the best pulled jackfruit tacos I’ve ever had!

Probably one of the worst interactions I've had with a human to date. To the man behind the bar, please don't take your stuff out on other humans, some of us don't get out much and genuinely just want to listen to great music and have a decent drink. So to have a random bartender go out of his way to just be so intentionally ick, just no. I thought we were past this, I thought that the whole 'masculine mean' thing was done, I don't support this behaviour and I would not recommend this experience or go back. Just be nice. Not so hard.

Omg thanks so much for not profiling me as a hardened alcoholic or a twelve year old girl, I’m literally just European (thus built different.) Appreciate the generous pours and lack of creepy mans on a sunny Sunday while simply minding my business and waiting for a friend a casual 90 mins late to a park meet. r/toronto recommended something not complete bs for once! I sincerely love to see it. Thank you Squirly’s for a chill weekend afternoon well wasted.
Pls keep the prosecco flowing next time. Like a raccoon, I too am fueled exclusively by garbage.

I often find myself lost and confused
Squirly’s has reopened and I am so happy about it. A Queen West staple with an amazing vibe, a great kitchen and yummy cocktails. Zaid and Miles (bartenders) make this place feel like home. 10/10.

Dino Magnatta, brother of Leo back in Summer 2008, organized a co-ed softball team and Squirly's was our sponsor. Sorry to hear it's closing after 36 years in operation. City news reported this tonight at 6:00. I am a student from école Sacré-Coeur on Sherbourne then moved to Linden Avenue. I reunited with Dino via Facebook.
Merci! Grazie! Buona Fortuna!

Came on the Friday of the taylor swift concert. Our bartenders was extremely rude. 0 tip and I'm a bartender too, she was just really awful. I've never tipped less than 10% until today.
One of the greatest dive bars ✌🏼🖤
It truly is the best bar in Toronto.

Lady that served us gave us crazy attitude and was really impatient. When we asked her a question about our order, she insulted us and said it’s unacceptable to go on a Friday night and get only 2 beers. Definitely the rudest service I’ve received. Now I know why it’s closing down.
