My wife and I were in for a treat this afternoon. She went to the restroom and upon returning she felt nauseous and no longer wanted her coffee but instead needed some water. We walked over to the barista and kindly asked for water, she refused to fill my wife’s bottle and told her next time to order something before using the restroom or asking for water. The place was empty, literally two people seated in the whole shop.
Please educate your staff on company policies… Barista Discretion: While the primary policy is to require a purchase, baristas are still empowered to assess individual situations and provide water to non-paying customers if they are not busy, as a gesture of good customer service. This was an example of horrible customer service!

I ordered my coffee, gave the barista a 100 bill, and she told me she did not have any change. So I didn't get my coffee.
Then later on, I asked for tap water, the same barista rejected my request and told me that only those who purchased could ask for water. I told her I had my 100 dollar bill and she didn't have the change to give me coffee, she just repeated the same: water is only given to purchasers.
The worst attitude from a mean and rude barista who is grumpy for no-reason and made a pure black cold brew as the store run out of iced coffee. However, I had already mentioned my concern the cold brew might be too strong and bitter for my stomach, especially i order at 6pm. I do not what she was thinking by suggesting and filling my reusable 16oz tumbler by a pure cold brew without any ice or cream to levitate the bitterness.

Today 4/26/25, my wife, son and I happiness wanted to have a cup of coffee, so we passed by Starbucks @ College & Bathurst and went in. The environment seemed pretty good, but the service staffs was very unprofessional and the hygiene inside the shop floor was quite dirty. There was no refill of the two bottles of milk and cream at all, how can Starbucks had this kind of management which was totally unacceptable! I hope to see the relevant department of this company and make an investigation. I hope there will be a chance to improve your service. We had order less ice of those 2 cups of Iced Shaken Espresso & Iced Matcha Latte, unfortunately both cups had 70% of ice 🧊😤 How could Starbucks serve this kind of coffee⁉️🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♀️

Clean, nice, very friendly staff, and probably the only Starbucks I didn't dislike being in lol. I'm not a Starbucks fan, but this place wasn't too bad at all.
