I arrived before closing time (around 7:20 pm) today and politely explained that I’d place an order but urgently needed the washroom first. A female employee, Hannah, refused and said the washroom was closed for the night because they were “going to clean it.” I reminded her that as a business operating in Toronto they’re required to provide washroom access during business hours. After five minutes of insisting, she reluctantly gave me the code.
Inside, it was clear the washroom had already been cleaned. At exactly 7:30, a male employee, Baden, pounded on the door and told me to leave because they were closed. When I stepped out, he was holding the front door and both employees repeatedly and aggressively told me I had to leave—even though I had arrived before closing and had not yet ordered.
This was unprofessional, hostile, and discriminatory treatment. Denying basic washroom access before closing and rushing a paying customer out the door is unacceptable for a brand that claims to value customer service. Starbucks Management should address the conduct of Hannah and Baden and retrain staff on basic customer courtesy.

They constantly mess with my order. I always request a hot Oat Lavender Latte without any modifications, but they often forget the lavender powder or send it as an iced coffee. Long wait as well, terrible place…

Super hot day in toronto went for a walk and im not sure if this guy was new or just really slow but he told me that i had to pay for a ice water and refused to give me tap water to be honest im quite disgusted right now with this person how hard is it to give me some tap water on a hot day, don’t recommend going to this starbucks, i googled right after if starbucks charges money for tap water now and it said no they don’t so this guy is just not built for that job if he can’t even pour tap water in a cup for someone who’s thirst while it’s hot outside.. Do better starbucks and hire people that care.

Emegency situation they don’t let me use washrooms just ask for 1 min, if you are cutumer and purchase something they I will let you use it that what employees told me, really that is crazy to tell anyone, I use other starbucks location in duwtown and they letting me use it, this people don’t have hearts and they have stone, cold people not nice at all. If I was employess I will let anyone use it for emegency. 👎👎👎

The staff here are awesome! They always greet me by name with a smile, whether I'm coming or going. It’s the little things that make this location feel extra welcoming.

The staff here never seems friendly. They want to charge for water, for standing inside for 5 mins and that’s still ok but their drinks aren’t even good either. When I complained about my drink instead of replacing it he made some lousy excuse. Also they take ages to prepare the drinks and one staff was not even wearing Starbucks uniform.
