No seating anymore. Take out only.
First time try place an order in store.
Super super slow. Just because of I hold the store credit, the lady with half black and half yellow hair is being inpatient and start baking croissants instead of placing an order for me. Super disappointed after being in this store for a long period.

I usually enjoy Starbucks, but my recent experience at this location was
disappointing. The staff were incredibly rude and unprofessional. They seemed disinterested in helping customers and were short with their responses. It's really unfortunate, as the quality of the drinks is usually great, but poor customer service can really affect the overall experience. I hope management takes note of this and works on improving staff behaviour . I won't be returning to this store anytime soon.

I used to be a regular at this location until they closed down their fantastic seating area upstairs about 6 months ago. I haven't been since. Hopefully many other regulars have stopped going too and they will reverse this ill-conceived move. Almost all downtown Starbucks now have no seating. What's the point, when we can make better coffee at home for a fraction of the price? Plus there are so many independent coffee shops around with lots of comfy seating. Why a global behemoth can't seem to manage it is a mystery. If they do come back to their senses and reopen the nice seating area, I will definitely go back to being a regular there.

I am not a kind of person to post negative reviews but EVA at this location is very rude , this hasnt happened once happened multiple times thats why I am posting i am regular customer i go there everyday and no one ever spoke to me like this . Everytime i go try to be nice to her she responds in a very disrespectful and rude manner when i asked for her name she said go ahead and tell shelly(the manager)

All the seating was removed, sad!
They removed the entire upstairs, all seating, and bathrooms. It’s just a coffee stand at this point and another de-personalized Starbucks that has decided it hates its customers daring to sit down, or god forbid use a bathroom after a cup of coffee.

They've transformed into pure take-out, closing off the upstairs seating as well as the washroom, presumably because instead of just having the guts to refuse service to people drenched in urine carrying syringes, they've decided to just close it all off to everyone, and let it be ruined for the other 99.9% of the people. Otherwise, the Gen z employees are occasionally polite.

Relaxed, natural interaction. Not one of those immediate robotic greetings without eye contact or a forced politeness mixed with a millennial world fearing "do not engage". . Just pleasant and cool. And fast!

Although I know this store for 24 years, twenty four, it is not the same.
The new staff has recommended to close the area upstairs, so we don’t have anymore a place to drink a coffee, eat a favourite cookie and read.
The new design was not as open as before, but it was of a nicer look. But old or new are gone!
What’s next? A window to the sidewalk? Maybe if they stop being that permissive with homeless (all the time at the door forcing customers to say “hi” and “good morning”) then they will not enter that often.
Recently I mentioned this issue and I seem to be the problem.
A real shame that a nice store had this fate!

One big reason that sets a chain of stores /franchise apart from the other is their staff!
Hands down the baristas here are kind, welcoming and friendly.
