Went to starbucks for Oat Milk latte..on counter Christopher stated they don’t have Oat Milk so i said ok as i don’t drink any other milk coffee and requested them to open the restroom lock as i wanted to use it but they refuse it stating that it is company policy that one can use restroom only if they make any purchase…i went to purchase but they didn’t have product how come that is my fault..Moreover i have been regular visitor to Starbucks but other than this location no other location have any problem….i had a rude encounter with another employee in past st same store as well but i let it go that time but this time it should be brought in public notice…i even told them that i m your regular customer but they still didn’t allowed..no wonder they are loosing their business and scaling back in North America…very disappointed

STARBUCKS: Serious Problem — Plastic Found in Drink and Swallowed
STORE LOCATION: 2235 Yonge St, Toronto, ON M4S 2B1
I am writing to report a very upsetting and serious experience I had with a recent order of a Hot Matcha Latte. As I was finishing the drink, I felt something hard in my mouth. When I spit it out, I discovered it was small, sharp pieces of green plastic (I have attached photos as proof).
The most concerning part is that I had already swallowed some of the plastic before realizing what it was. This is a major mistake in how the drink was made and creates a serious risk to health. Because I am very careful about avoiding plastic, this incident has caused me a lot of worry and distress.
The way the store responded was completely unacceptable. I immediately called the location and explained that I had swallowed foreign material. The staff member who answered (a woman) was rude and did not take my concern seriously. She only offered a refund or a free drink, which does not address the seriousness of ingesting plastic.
When I told her how upset I was and asked for her name, she abruptly hung up the phone on me.
This response shows a shocking lack of proper training for handling real customer concerns and potential safety issues. I was trying to report a serious product safety breach and was treated with indifference and disrespect. I strongly urge Starbucks corporate management to immediately investigate both where the plastic came from and the unacceptable way the employee behaved when I called.

Very friendly staff but wait times are super high lately even for simple online orders (eg tea or coffee) Expect around 15 minutes or more to have your order ready or try another branch nearby. This has happened multiple times to me and my bf within the past few months
I have been to this Starbucks numerous of times, I have ordered the same drink the past 4 times and they have made it wrong each and every time, I have a friend that works at Starbucks, she has told me everything that goes in and on the drink. I have corrected them all 4 times in a respectful manner, they refuse to apologize and instead roll their eyes before placing the correct topping on it. My friend that works at Starbucks has told me to mention they should be retrained, their manners are horrible, and making drinks wrong, not even apologizing after realizing their mistake. Starbucks is not a cheap café, so I would expect a but more manners, and expect them to know how to make drinks that are on the board correctly. Interesting that it has been 3 different workers that have made it wrong, 2 workers made it twice before, so I at this point I would assume most of them do not know how to make a simple frapp.

Sometimes you meet people who just give you positive energy and completely change your mood Morty is one of those people! Every time I visit Starbucks and Morty is working, I leave with a smile. He’s not just great at making drinks perfectly, but he also has this amazing way of making your day better with his kindness and good vibes.
Starbucks needs more people like Morty Im not kidding.he turns an ordinary coffee stop into a moment of joy. Thank u Morty, for spreading positivity with every cup hahaha

Ysa is amazing at what she does. I was at the Starbucks for about 30mins. In that time she made over 30 drinks without skipping a beat. She took the time to address people concerns with a smile. Keep up the excellent work!

We visited this Starbucks for an event this Sunday, and Morty completely changed our view of this branch. Honestly, we didn’t really like this location before, but the way he prepared our cortado was beyond professional perfect balance, perfect texture, perfect taste. It reminded us why we fell in love with Starbucks in the first place. Morty, thank you for your amazing service and skill. You truly made our day and turned this into our new favorite branch!

I stopped by Starbucks and ordered a lavender iced matcha, and Morty was the barista who took care of my drink. Not only was the drink made perfectly—smooth, balanced, and just the right hint of lavender—but Morty was also incredibly kind, attentive, and professional. Morti made the experience feel personal and warm, even during a busy moment he took the time to talk to me. It’s always a win when a barista gets both the drink and the vibe right. Big thanks to Morty for the excellent service and the refreshing matcha!

One star is pretty generous. I was at this location recently and the lack of service is astounding. For the astronomical price of the coffee they wouldn’t, sorry, not “wouldn’t” but refused to dress my coffee. You can’t add milk? But you’ll froth it and add it? That’s ridiculous. The coffee maker I had wore black and green hair and had one heck of an attitude. If you can’t handle a customer service job maybe you shouldn’t have a customer service job. Zero out of 5 I will not be back due to the attitude I received for no reason

The short Asian barista with long hair in a ponytail and false lashes working near the mobile counter this Sunday evening was so rude! I asked for a remake of my drink because it didn’t taste right (I only took 2 sips) and she gave me a lot of attitude and hesitation until she finally remade the drink which she just slid over the counter, said “here” and walked away. Not the type of service I expect when I visit Starbucks, maybe she was just having a bad day but this experience turned me off from coming to this location again.
