The short Asian barista with long hair in a ponytail and false lashes working near the mobile counter this Sunday evening was so rude! I asked for a remake of my drink because it didn’t taste right (I only took 2 sips) and she gave me a lot of attitude and hesitation until she finally remade the drink which she just slid over the counter, said “here” and walked away. Not the type of service I expect when I visit Starbucks, maybe she was just having a bad day but this experience turned me off from coming to this location again.

This store has become so disappointing. The new employees consistently make mistakes with even the simplest orders. I genuinely feel sorry for the manager of this store for hiring inexperienced and unskilled staff who can’t even handle basic tasks correctly. They've gotten my order wrong four times so far, and all they offer is a simple apology. It’s frustrating to see them hiring inexperienced employees who don’t even greet customers properly. I never expected this from Starbucks. Although this store is close to my house, I’ve decided to switch to a different Starbucks.

Wife, myself and our little dog went in to get some late night coffees. We were standing around for a couple minutes deciding on what to order. We ordered our drinks and it wasn't till after we ordered our drinks that the cashier said " you can wait outside for your order" it caught me off guard with how rude it was so I said " what? Why?" To which he responded " there's a dog in the store" okay fair enough but why be so rude and why not say anything to us when we first entered or while we were deciding what to order (we would've gone to another cafe that allows dogs). We just felt uncomfortable and won't be going back to this location. The other reviews are accurate...the staff are rude at this location.

This review is for the Starbucks across the street from Eglinton station; This is the most convenient location for me to pick up my coffee while on my commute to work in the mornings but I’m done coming here after my experience this morning:
I typically do mobile pickup and there have been multiple instances where the staff’s service has been less than welcoming and borderline rude but I just brush it off as morning rush stress and choose to ignore it. However, one staff member’s attitude continually stands out. I didn’t catch her name but she’s the tall black girl, usually wears a black face mask. I had just walked in and was looking for my drink, I have a pretty common name so I want to make sure I take the correct order. She saw me looking at the drinks, walked over asked “what are you looking for” - I told her my name and drink. She said “is that not it right there?” And pointed to a drink with the name sticker covered by a sleeve, my wrap hiding behind it. Obviously I didn’t touch it because I wasn’t sure if it was mine or not and I didn’t want to touch someone else’s food. Her service really rubbed me the wrong way and I felt uncomfortable. This isn’t the first time she’s been passive aggressive with me or other customers either, to top it off my drink was missing the syrup I paid extra for. I’m disappointed and this experience wasn’t a good start to my day.
Other Starbucks in the area are much better both in service and in quality!!

"Today, Milo (my dog) and I were there when one of the customers, who seemed unusual, started swearing at me and Milo, complaining about why there was a dog in the store. In short, they acted crazy. At one point, I lost control, but the young lady at the register calmed me down, took my order, and no matter how hard I tried, she refused to take any payment for it. All the staff smiled and apologized to me and Milo for the experience. Unfortunately, I forgot her name (she was wearing a black t-shirt). Thanks, I will make it up to her."

A lovely young Starbucks worker saved the day for me at the Yonge and Eglinton location. She retrieved a valuable item that fell out of my purse when I was paying. It had been swept off the floor and discarded. She really went the extra mile to help me. And the coffee was also delicious !!!

Superb personnel, smiley, welcoming. Yesterday was my birthday. In the middle of pouring rain I walked soaked wet into this store. Both staff greeted me laud with a kind and joyful tone that I didn't feel shame when my dripping cloths & water filled shoes spoiled their just cleaned floor. The store is large & was super clean in that rainy situation. The coffee was fresh itself but the additional peppermint was awesome. To feel how a humane character looks like & uplift your mind, you may wish to see them even if you are not local. Highly recommended!

No matter the time of day, this location always has my mobile order ready on time or early! The staff are always welcoming and have never made a mistake with my order! Reliable coffee shop at Yonge & Eg!
