I went to this Starbucks today and the new workers have terrible attitude and when you tell them that they made a mistake with your drink they just stare at you as if it’s your fault do t come here if you want good service because these workers don’t know what they’re doing

This Starbuck used to be kiddie corner to this location. It was small but bustling. A bulletin board was full of local happenings, baristas whitling and coffee was under two bucks. Cut to today when this cavernous space, largely empty has a sterile bulletin board of corporate approved nothing, the staff all looked vaguely scared and a small coffee is $3. And somehow despite the large size, the atmosphere gives you the impression you shouldn't sit down. Gone are the glory days.

I ordered the *vegetarian* falafel thing and they gave me a different one that had chicken in it. There was no way to tell it had meat until I took a bite which really sucks. Obviously just an accident but please keep your food properly labeled 🙏

Mobile orders took over 10 mins to process. The store was not busy. This happened on 2 occasions. Seems the staff on duty do not manage their resources well. 1 person making the drinks, 1 taking orders. 3 staff were in a back room. I made eye contact with all the staff including the staff who were in the back room who were visible to the merchants waiting for their orders. Obviously they knew my partner and I were waiting over 10 mins. I asked one of their staff if they had our mobile order to make sure it was on the their system, the person on staff mentioned that there was a backlog on orders...

Just ordered a pound of coffee. The staff accidentally spilled a quarter of the bag and was going to get me a new one.
THE SHIFT SUPERVISOR (Ta’iba - guess at spelling) TOLD HER NOT TO.
The management was trying to steal from me. The staff member was honest.
If I wasn’t watching it happen, the shift supervisor would have likely prevailed.
Be careful. Management is trying to rip you off.

The staff, the energy, and the space itself is simply magnetic, and it makes me want to return day after day. The new manager Lauren is simply a delight and is somebody I look forward to seeing every day. I am consistently greeted with a smile and open arms by people who genuinely feel interested in getting to know me and providing exceptional service
